Why does it take a Poleski days to rake it yard? Cuz he has to keep moving the ladder. www.nypost.com/p/news/international/polish_prez_among_dead_in_russia_xgNHPr22DO7hGYBtB18chOIt would appear that the Polish Republic doesn't follow the same strict rules for personal transportation that other, more Western civilizations follow. The crash devastated the upper echelons of Poland's political and military establishments. On board were the army chief of staff, the navy chief commander, and heads of the air and land forces. Also killed were the national bank president, deputy foreign minister, army chaplain, head of the National Security Office, deputy parliament speaker, Olympic Committee head, civil rights commissioner and at least two presidential aides and three lawmakers, the Polish foreign ministry said.Hell, Barry Obama (the "Bamster") has/had 10 helicopters fly into NY for JUST HIM!!! (...on tax payer dollars, of course)

I don't know what to say about it, except it's shocking and sad.

I don't know what to say about it, except it's shocking and sad. I don't know what to say. I don't get that either. Well I get it obviously but it's never thought about. I will not pretend to know everybody from this board but I'll take a chance that I traveled more in a summer season than the rest of the members travel for several years. Not now obviously as I am now retired from baseball. But most minor league sports travel is by bus as the market and budget isn't what the majors can support. But we do fly a lot too because there's time and distance to consider. You always realize when you board a plain or a bus for that matter that there could be a tragedy. It doesn't happen to speak of though. About the time I was graduating high school I remember reading about an Ontario League junior hockey team bus crashing killing all but 2 of the passengers. My parents remembered that all the time and thought of me whenever I went on the road. Presumably even after I got married but continued to travel this way. Even news reporters get killed sometimes but not whole teams and not Presidents. Princess Diana in a car accident was probably the closest situation to this but even though a royal princess she wasn't an executive branch of government. I'm just shocked.

This is so terrible. A sudden death of a President has to be so disturbing to society. That's never happened in my lifetime. My Parents were both Kids when John Kennedy was shot. My Grandparents remember Franklin Roosevelt dieing but he was ill so it wasn't a total shock for him to die.

No need to apologize to me on account of my roots. It is terrible though.

As bad as this is sometimes a national tragedy ends up bringing a country together perhaps that will happen in Poland.
