Congratulations Mist. A baby is an exciting thing. You're a young guy to be on the cusp of fatherhood but Its a great thing I'm sure Phil will agree with me once the baby is born something changes you forever. The total prioritization of things changes for good.

Mist. You're grammar is better than this; and you know this!
If you're going to raise an intelligent young lady you'll have to show her by example.
Don't post grammatically inconsistent posts - even if you're trying to be funny. Laziness begets habit. Habit begets lifestyle. Lifestyle begets a pregnant 12 year old Auddriana Michelle - not to pick you out, specifically but, it's 90% proven that parents who try to be their children's "friend" end up being grandparents before they turn 32.
You are NOT their friend. You are a parent! Parents set rules. Rules are good. Parents don't say, "I is a'ight, ya'll." while trying to teach their children proper English.
Shape up! Straight Chin! Arm level with the deck! (Military salute)
After she's born, I'll buy you a beer. (even though you're under age - but, you aren't going to be driving anywhere).

I'm on an iPod touch so I don't spend twenty hours fixin everything that's why my grammer isn't on point. And monarch don't go sayin crap like that your barkin up the wrong tree. My baby girl isn't goin to get pregnant at 12 u don't kno me or what I'm about. Just cause I don't spend an hour fixin my spellin doesn't have crap to do with me being a father. I could careless how I type it's a forum who cares?

The things you said are true Mist, but don't take offense easily! You're a young parent and you'll need all the help you can get, whether you think it applies to you or not. Just take it and do the best you can with it. By your custom title there, I'd say you appreciate the value of love. Don't ever ever forget or neglect that need. Hey, here's some good stuff: watchtower.org/Please ignore your initial reactions and type "parenting" in the search box. Some really great stuff.

I think Lewa sums up what I would say here. Obviously a great challenge lies before Mist and his girl. But young people have successfully raised children before and I know that's what has to happen this time.
I was kind of lucky I was almost 30 when we had our first child. But whatever your age is the important thing is to be a stable father. That's what's most important.

I can't describe what lies before you my friend. But that moment when the baby is born and then after cleaning the baby a little bit and hand her to you. There's no other feeling like it. I don't have the words to describe but there is nothing like it.
And like Classic said its something that changes you forever. For the good though. Something inside you says 'I created this!' That's the best I can explain in this kind of text.

I can't picture having a kid at all.
I never want to be responsible for bringing up a child. Ever. It goes against every aspect of my morality.

I might change my mind in 10 years time, who knows, but all I know is that I am not ready to be a parent anytime soon, There are also some things I want to do before I even consider parenthood.

I'm completely on the same page as fartinggurl on this. Actually, I don't think I'll ever have time to have kids. xD I don't like the thought of having that kind of responsibility, at least not at this stage in my life. I'll probably change my mind in time though, just as most people.

I didn't think of myself as a paternal influence but all my teen and young adult years people said I could make a good teacher after my baseball career. Who knows? But now I couldn't imagine not having my two sons.
