Today it thundered and rained, but was a clear night last night with the moon shining...but fog too. Earlier in the week it was sweltering hot. Next week I don't know what we'll get. I do like the summer-esque weather though. Hope it comes back.

Summer is my favorite season too.
I like the heat some people hate it but I don't
And fog I like fog and people say I'm crazy when I say that. I don't like cold wind though. That depresses me.

Last nite was a Harvest Moon, and I cold literally turn my headlights off at 1am and drive my rig down the highway.........not that I did.......for very long. Then, today (thursday) it started off cold. Got some rain. Got really warm and muggy. Got some more rain (and massive lightning over GR). And then it's cold and clear again. My Computer Monitoring System in my Volvo read from 66F to 86F and back all through the day. I also get about 5.8mpg at 65mph on flat terrain (instant metering) Let up a bit I can squeeze about 12.6mpg. I like this new rig. The read out not only tells me outside temp and instant MPG, but I can digitally dial in my Cruise Control to the MPH, and it shows me (I don't know how) if it's cloudy, partly cloudy or sunny outside. Obviously I can look outside and see, but it's cool to have it on the dash, interlayed with the speedo and tach.

It was...Thursday early morning I was going to work and the moon was bright but I ran into a little fog on the highway...sort of weird in clear skies right, and a ring around the moon usually means rain, which I didn't see at all. Then, it was cloudy when I woke up later, sunny in the afternoon, then around 7 something it gets cloudy again, and we're in a store and it really gets dark at 8 or so, and is raining big time. On the news it says it will be warm again next week, which is great.

WE get that here too. We started off yesterday in the 80s and it got fairly cold at night. It can really suck late night outside on the job but we're not to that real cold point yet thankfully.

Great. I'm still on the motorbike, so I wanna squeeze every mile I can out of this year.
Riding home last night (friday/sat. morn) sucked. 42F! in fog.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
It's a question of:
Do I speed to shorten time? Or, do I creep to lessen wind?
I did 70mph all the way, hunkered over the tank.
