Hmm... it appears we might have to go all "Cold Case" on the 'stuck in the mud' situation.
Who knew what, where and when?
We'll start with the forensics:
1. Phil's truck got stuck in mud.
....that's all I got. Any help, Detectives?

I know what happened even if they aren't telling the whole story.
There's a trail that can be driven it's 10 or more feet wide most places. Some places it is more of a slope though and that's a mushier area. They got going through it and it went sideways on them and the right wheels ended up off the side and it was too steep for them to climb back onto the trail and the trail was too wet or soupy for the left wheels to pull that much weight that high. They dug some deep holes trying though. But the combination of the steep non shoulder on the trail and the mud made it not possible. So they got some jacks and blocks of wood and leveled the truck enough that it would pull itself on track.
I can only imagine how muddy they got it. They brought it to my father's place and washed it really well before they told me about the adventure. Its probably better that way.

Hmmm seems I've solved another one!!!
*self back pat* ........
Can I at least do a 'perp walk' (where I make the perpetrators walk in front of a crowd that throws veggies and stuff at them)?
