The Republican longshot candidate, Scott Brown, just took the seat of now-dead liberal Senator Ted Kennedy away from the Democrats in Massachusetts. This is unbelievably huge for conservatives and the GOP nationwide, as it provides the Republicans with the one vote they needed in the Senate to create a fillibuster on the socialist Obamacare bill. Brown defeated Martha Coakley, a Democrat notorious for a certain pardon as attorney general of Massachusetts. The pardon was of a police officer who raped a 23 month old child with a heated implement. Despite overwhelming evidence used to convict him, Coakley had him pardoned because the father of this particular man was a big monetary contributor to her political career. Wonderful isn't she? This is only the beginning of the embarassment for the Democrats, because this coming November they all get booted out, the Republicans take control, and Obama gets politcally neutered. Rest of the story here. www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/01/19/polls-close-competitive-massachusetts-senate-race/

I am happy. It's been 38 years since Mass has elected a Republican . As long as I am old.
I displayed my truck on lewasite long before Scott Brown's ad with his truck. I think it's great. No little 'smart car' for Senator Brown. And the government regulated Obama health plan probably will not have enough votes now.
Oh yeah I'm Phil and I drive a truck. lol.

I can't believe that Obama put down Scott Browns' ......05(!!!!!) Sierra!
'05?
I drive a '95 Sierra - and it's running great!
'05 is yesterdays' model.
Who does Obama think he is? A highschool cheerleader? "Oh, that health care is soooo last week..."
When I first heard about B.O. talking down Brown's truck, I thought Scott was driving a '78 K10 Stepside (which WOULD still get you to ..."where you want to go..") - Barry himself.

There's a lot of trucks among Board owners. Mahnarch, Jersey Life, Phil, Classic, Thunderbird, and that's just who talks about having trucks. Maybe theres more.
Phil made his truck famous though. ;D
Obama just doesn't share Brown's Political beliefs this was never about the truck.
I think there's a certain arrogance upon saying "Its Edward Kennedy's Seat."
Isn't the Election system about all SEATS are up for grabs every Election? In Senators cases its six years. If it's Kennedy's seat why have an Election at all retire that seat and have only one Senator from Massachusetts then.

Let's run away together! Classic will never know......except, he'll be sitting next to us since; he purchased the tickets to Cabo San Lucas for all three of us!
I chipped in for the airline peanuts, though.....

For Mexico or South America I know plenty of guys who can interpret. Language would not be a problem.

It's in Baja California (Mexico's Florida!)
Lot's of beach front property.
Lot's of tans and margaritas for everyone!!

Yay the government will get less than nothing done now! I think it has to depend how you feel about what is to get done. If you mean the Obama health proposal I am really hoping that doesn't go through. Not the way it is written now. The government will have the right to determine who can and can't receive helthcare. What the Democratic party calls healthcare is not something that sets well with me anyway. There are numerous things that fit that description. I don't quarrel with the point you are making that two parties do things that block each other when they could be working together to do something progressive. Obviously they can't do that they battle at every turn and freeze progress. But I do not support the Obama plan on healthcare in its current state though.

If I were in charge I would write and Executive Order that Congress is to take a 'Permanent Paid Vacation' from the day they're elected until they're voted out. It would be cheaper, me thinks! *** Possum, you need to get a new avatar. You're link is dead. (After the 1rst of Feb. I will choose one for you if you don't fix it....)
