I hope you find it, Blastgirl..... I've read and heard that it's pretty much Leftist, Liberal, Tree Hugger trash. From what I've read, I'm surprised that it wasn't Directed by Al Gore. Armed with this information, I'm at a cross roads. -Like "An Inconvenient Truth", I would like to see it for the research but, I don't want to financially support the criminally insane who made it. -James Cameron is pretty awesome. I may re-subscribe to BlockBuster and get both of these on DVD (Unlimited rentals - 4 at a time - $9.99/month).

I hadn't heard anything about this movie. But being a conservative as you are too Mahnarch I find most media items liberal leaning if not fully rooted.
I really liked the movie An American President with Michael Douglas a few years ago but they still made the President a card carrying member of the ACLU. I could overcome that and enjoy the movie though because it was a good flick.

You wanna know what Michael Douglas was good in? The Game (1997)I was confused until the end. I love that movie. I'll have to watch it again. But, beware the liberal movie 'Avatar'. From what I understand: it's about Earth (read: American) forces coming in and trying to force out the native people (referencing the frontier and Native American invasion) while stripping the land of it's resources (non-native views as to how Americans are). I wouldn't be surprised if they have "Earthians" slaughtering homo-sexual Na'ia (nigga?), while they thump their Earth Regulations book (Bible), also. Again, I confess I haven't seen the film. I will wait until it comes out on video....... and pirate it like a real American!!

I don't think those were James Cameron's intentions...

I don't think those were James Cameron's intentions... I don't either and why does an issue have to be made out of something so harmless as a sci fi movie?

...pfft. I don't think it was James' intentions, either but, the Studios can have quite a pull on a project...
James couldn't do Terminator and turn around and put this out on his own terms.
There's a lot of politics in Hollywood. Just look at Sean Penn!
