I posted this in my video thread but I felt the topic could use its own so here it is.
This was my take on vehicle inspections. I think its safer to have them.
Does your state have inspections and how do you feel?
Sure some things are unnecessary like emissions things, technicalities that are probably bogus but the process and what usually needs to be checked mandated by most states that have inspections I think are good things to check.
I also recently learned that 31 of the 50 states have either discontinued inspections or never had them.
Some say that its only a money grab by the states. Which it is to a degree but I think accidents are prevented by inspection.
I don't measure whats right by how the majority of the states do things either. The majoirty is not always right. There are some things you can take a vote on and decide from there but not always.
