Even the gold fillings from their teeth sometimes. Looting is an opportunity that people take. Its seems to be fun to pillage from vulnerable situations. Blackouts be get looting, earthquakes, hurricanes. There was a train derailment in Kentucky about 2 years ago the neighborhood was evacuated for 4 days CSI called for assistance they sent in the national guard to patrol against looting. This wasn't even a major city either.

Yeah, we had a power failure on the west coast a few years back . It was Summer and hot. It happened at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. It lasted for several hours. I was driving back to check on my kennel and I saw people lining the streets. The gas stations and all the businesses were pitch dark. I heard later that there were several robberies of gas stations and business Thieves took advantage of the darkness and lack of electricity to close registers and doors and unarmed alarms.  |
