Yeah. I'm going to call my work and resign. I think that I can find some kind of disability and just call it a career. For the next 2 1/2 years I'll split my time between lewasite, facebook and youtube and just be a bump on a log. Pay about 1/2 the amounts due on bills until that ultimate doomsday projected for 2012. In about 10 minutes I'll call my place of work...
No I'll just go awol for the week and let them know next Monday that I quit.
Either that or I'm going to go upstairs in half an hour take a shower and head out abut 10 pm and keep doing what I've done every night for the last 19 years.
Its going to be 1 or the other.

If that can't happen within a time of situating things I'll take a job locally. Blastgirl doesn't want to move or I'd go work for my brothers that's what I would do if I wasn't entrenched here. I'm on a players pension that is in place. I'm not sponging off any of you guys. My name is still technically in the free-agent pool but I don't expect to get a tryout this spring. I'm going to have to get a real job this year. Heck I'm going be 35 Wednesday. |

I just wasn't in the mood to get ready for work and that hour was approaching. Of course I wasn't thinking of quitting. Although the way I figured it if that 2012 doomsday is correct I could probably juggle it the way I explained it long enough to not lose anything. |

Anyone who doesn't think there will be ridiculous amounts of inner city rioting and looting in anticipation of the 2012 "apocolypse" is kidding themselves. Those who stayed behind in New Orleans were looting the stores for their free Nike shoes and big screen televisions prior to the storm even making landfall. Those riots might even be Part 2 of 2012 riots. The other one might be from Obama losing the election.  |

I could actually legitimately retire around age 50. If your time on the job and age add to 80 you can retire. I started at age 19. Currently age 38 I've had the job 19 years so that adds to 57. I'd be 50 in 11.5 years June of 2021. That would put my time on the job over 30 years so about August of 2021 I would qualify for sure to retire if I wanted to. That probably wont happen though. At that time Jason would be getting out of college and his younger 2 siblings would be toward the end of high school, so their father probably will not be retiring at age 50. But the thought is so good. |

Obviously you have never lived in Los Angeles. ;)During the Watts riot in 1965 they looted. During the east L.A. riots in 1969 they looted. during The Rodney King riots they looted.
