www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local-beat/Local-Boy-Out-Drives-Tiger-Woods-64788127.htmlTiger Woods got middle-schooled on the fairways of North Carolina.
Much like Happy Gilmore’s challenge of, “Step right up, folks. See if you can out drive the amazing Golf Ball, uh, Whacker Guy,” Woods dared a crowd of people in North Carolina to out-drive him earlier this month.
Mark Benevento Jr., who is probably too young to recognize the Adam Sandler reference, stepped right up and did just that, out-whacking the champion. Twice.Awesome! Reminds me of the time I beat my Grandpa on the course when I was 14 - by 2 strokes. That was the last time he ever took me golfing.

I don't know how I overlooked this topic after all this time. The kid says "I don't think I actually beat Tiger but I think I did pretty good." That's a young boy who doesn't know about gambling odds. That he definitely beat the spread no matter what actually happened.
I can relate to this a little though.
I have a make shift batting cage. Its not as good as the stationary ones but you can assemble it in about an hour and a half and its good enough.
I use it at the annual City Carnival the purpose is to raise money and you take challengers. Sometimes a challenger beats me. And they're not always Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire or Barry Bonds. Sometimes you just miss the ball for a series, sometimes you get winded after enough of the challenges and you just don't know they say one in a hundred that one comes up every hundred.
I can't tell you how tired I get over a weekend with that too. And there's a lot of pressure on me there in a way. Some people talk trash if you don't kill the challenger. They remind me in a round about way that I never went higher than AA. Also if I lose a round that much less goes to the cause.
I do get a little relief. My friend Carlos will cover a few hours. Carlos was my mentor when I started playing. His story is really good I've told it here before.
But I get a little help from Carlos but its mostly me all weekend taking challenges for a few bucks that I don't get paid any of. hahaha.

Yes you got smoked all the time. Your elbow hurt whenever that happened. I don't think your hero Mike Schmidt ever got out hit by a commoner. ;D I'm teasing Classic does a lot to raise money for the community's charity events.

I am sorry but I am sick and tired of Tiger Woods. He had a good reputation and he blew it. At least for a long time. He tried a public statement in a type of apology but as far as I was concerned it didn't work. My girlfriend shook her head and said "thats all you have to do when you're really good at something." I disagree though. I think it takes a lot more for those of us who really believe in charactor.

She has to option to leave him, but she went back with him to give him another chance. Sure I felt bad for her in the beginning, but when I heard that she went back to Tiger, who is probably still cheating on her, I stopped feeling bad for her.

Tiger has flooded the news for too long already. I agree just play golf and be quiet.

Tiger Woods cheated on his wife. Big deal. Lots of people do it. He and his wife need to make up or break up, there is no reason for the media to get involved.
I feel sorry for the guy.

There's been too much attention to Tiger. What that happens that means the sports media hasn't found dirt on anybody else lately. At least not enough to sell.
