Thats a great dog
he was smart too he knew how to not hurt the other dog any worse than he already was and keep himself visible enough not to get hit too.

A dog can be very loyal I'm not surprised. Well I guess I am because that was unusually smart for an animal. That was more than instinctive it was resourceful.
