Are these never aired episodes? I love that show. I watched it religiously for a long time.

I like when he leaps into himself as a kid and goes to Vietnam to save his Brother and he feels so terrible because he thinks its his fault that his Brother survived and a reporter didn't. However he wasn't able to save her. But the reporter won a Pulitzer prize for a picture she took and Al was one of the POWs.

I haven't made it that far into the series, yet!!
.....even though, I do remember those episodes when they originally aired.
I'm still working on season 2 (Episode 15, tomorrow!)

Sam can't leap before his Birthday or into the future right. The string is the time traveler's lifespan. The beginning of the string is his Birthday and the end of the string is today. He can't leap before his birth because he wasn't alive and he can't leap into the future. If you tie the string together there's a loop. If you set the string down you can intermingle the days.
I remember the concept.

Hmmm... but, is his "present day" continuing?
Because Al is still moving forward through time as he interacts with Sam.
Or, is Sam's furthest forward leaping day the actual day he stepped into the Quantum Accelerator and vanished, ....only to awaken in another time. With no memory of his past life and a face that wasn't his own......
...Basically, if/when Sam leaps home, will he still be 5 years behind Al?
