I'm a lifelong Yankees fan for the American league and Pirates fan for the national League. The Yankees are my favorite team overall.
I guess I'm for the Giants now. I could be for the Rangers but they beat the Yankees so I'm not over my anger in just a couple days so go Giants.

I am pulling for the Cardinals, so are my inlaws with one exception. My dear wife Blastgirl is for the Red Sox She thinks David Ortiz is the coolest thing in the world and when he hit the 2 run homer tonight I really thought we'd never hear the end of it. It was a good shot right over the Green Monster, but the Cardinals rallied.
Its for the Cardinals advantage they won one of two on the road and come home with the series tied.

Its do or die for the Cards I'm hoping it will be over or nearly over before I leave for work. Even if the Cardinals do win they're going to have to play game 7 at Fenway.

And I was wrong the game was in Fenway. I couldn't believe President Obama would plan his meetings in Boston if the game was going to be there so I had assumed that it wasn't. Did he not know or did he decide to be the center of attention in spite of a World Series game?

In a way I can relate to the song. I've played for struggling teams and just wanted to play and leave it at that.

the Kansas City Royals lead the NY Mets 2 games to 1. so far the hometeam won every game in the series I hope the mets win.

Chips are down for the Mets but its never over til its over as Yogi Barra used to say. This might be the Royals last chance with the team they have since so many of those guys are nearing contract end and more than likely that team will be somewhat broken up next year. Obviously we never know for sure. But the Mets and another young up and coming team the Cubs are going to be around for a while.
