Everybody here knows that I'm liberal, and that I did not care for Bush, but when I heard that Obama was going to get a Nobel Peace Prize, I, like everybody else, felt that he does not deserve it. Obama did not yet do anything to even deserve the prize. But you do have to note that Obama said, while he is flattered about getting a Nobel Peace Prize, he feels that he did not do anything yet to deserve it. At least he's being honest. It's dumb to be mad at him for it. I'm not, just the situation. All he can do is accept it. At least he's not taking credit. It wasn't his decision. It's just so irritating how people think sunshine comes out of his butt. Awarding him something because he "might" fix things? How ridiculous is that?

I agree with Demona for sure that there's people acting like he's the Messiah. I made it clear I didn't vote for him, but I said when he got in that it was a fair election and he won it so I'd give him a chance. This hurts that cause though. For guys like me who didn't support him and have less liberal views than the President, it to me is another media attempt to sell him.

Apparently the Nobel Peace prize is just like welfare or socialized medicine, you don't have to work to get it.

I hate when I mix the quote and modify buttons up. Fixed now, so that's cool. Anyway, it's definately fair to give somebody a chance, but I think both ends need to cool it. Either he'll eventually fix something for the better, or not. So far his ideas haven't worked so hot trying to bail out this and that. He's doing what he thinks is best though, but yes it's frustrating nothing has really made people happy. I know Phil that you're views are not liberal. It's like half the board is conservative, the other half liberal. I'm one of the few in betweens. My views on it is that any method that's too far one or the other won't work. Too many people get left out either way.

I dont think anything has worked so far. But I think finding ways to give it to the people directly would be the best approach but governments dont like to give up control of the money.

I wonder how many candles the liberals light every night at the shrine dedicated to Obama.
To Aladdin's 'Prince Ali':
"Prince Barry. Mighty is he. Barry Obama. Strong as 10 Elephant Men, definitely....'
I'm working on the rest.
Patent Pending!!
