I decided to make a new one after deleting all my posts from the old one. So, starting over, here it is. I don't know when I'll post, or what about yet. Nothing really interesting is going on right now.

I worked from 9am to 7pm today. I think the day goes by faster like that.
I also have something like a cold that's in the making. Really on and off. I also feel like chundering, but I doubt that will happen.

I agree with you on that. Sometimes night shift can drag on and on. I think it's because daytime operation is just quicker and there's more happening. Not that we don't get assignments at night but its just different somewhat. Sometimes I drive to railroad crossings and make sure that branches and debris is not left in the intersection. Those nights drag on forever.
Sometimes there's even a full day assignment but it still draggs on. Then on a double shift it flows from 7am to 3pm way faster than 11pm to 7am did. So I think you're right.

So yesterday I finally went out and bought an Xbox. The graphics are really good, and I've been playing the new Prince of Persia game.

I might be the only person who was ever a member of all three Lewasite, Artistz and Gamerz and Sodarace and never bought an XBox or wii game set.
My older son will be 5 next month so I might use it as a guise to buy some of those now. hahaha

The new Playstation isn't backwards compatible, at least not with everything. Also, it doesn't have wired controlls and costs more. The Wii has so many attatchments for it's remote you'd spend money just for those so you can play certain games. I don't think it's worth it.

Today I went downtown with my dad to take pictures of the outdoor art left over from a recent contest. My camera took a puke and now I have no batteries left to display the pictures. When I buy some more I will post a topic for it.

It was scary driving to work with all the snow, but I've done worse. It rained by the time I came home.
Want to know something way not cool? I had to call my dad from the front porch of the house because the key broke off inside the door. I don't know or why, but I have another now.

Keys wear out. You're lucky you got the broken part out sometimes you can't.
Yeah we had freezing rain overnight. That was fun. NOT. I had to drive home this morning in 4x4 the whole way. I guess I didn't have to but I did because the roads were slick.

They cancelled the flu shot deal over at the high school yesterday because of the weather. The problem was, nothing bad started until late at night! It could have been done in time. It's covered in snow today outside and will only get worse. I hate this time of year so much. In other bad news, I discovered on two bathroom scales in my house that it's time to go on a diet. No more drinking pop and eating fast food. Very hard to go cold turkey on things like that.

I am going to have to be careful this year too.
I have always gotten off track from after baseball season to New Year's eve. Then I figure there's about 6 or 7 weeks to spring training so I do my workout more seriously and eat better from January 2 until about February 20 or whenever veterans are told to report to camp. Usually pitchers and catchers and rookies are called in around the 15th and veteran non pitchers and catchers a week after. Depends on the team though. Not that you care just saying hahaha.
So That's my get in shape period. I hope I have proper motivation not to just get fat this year since there's not going to be a camp to report to.

Today we had a potluck dinner at work during break. It wasn't much of one though, since it only consisted of some ham and rolls. Free food though right?

Free food. Have fork will travel. ;D Tonight I took home the leftover dinner rolls that weren't opened and still soft. On the way home I stopped at the grocery store to buy egg nog and soy pumpkin milk. I've always wanted to try that stuff. It's actually good, even if not sweetened as much as it could be with the pumpkin spice flavor. Around noon or so relatives are coming over for turkey, can't wait.

I just got home from seeing a movie with a friend. We saw Avatar. It was fun, and a really good movie, and long too.

3D yes, Imax no. The effects were like, woah OMG! I might buy that movie once it's on DVD...and cheap.
In other news, I found a pair of jeans at a consignment shop that fit! A little on the long side, but I found a place nearby that tailors clothes, and is very reasonably priced. I just hope they're done good when I pick them up tomorrow.
Also, I ran around and looked at lamps and material for putting over my desk tops in my room. I'm working on making that over and it will look totally awesome when I'm done.
