Nervous as hell. It's like I should have done fine but I still get nervous and I know I could have done and revised more. The nerves have only just hit me this bad.

I would say "Good Luck" but, as I learned in flight school: You don't "get" your ticket (license). You "earn" it. If you've done your homework and proven yourself capable, you should have no problem passing the final test. I'm sure you'll do fine. If you pass, can I have $20 to pay someone to do my yard work?

Good. Theres a very anxious feeling when youre waiting for results and it doesnt matter how well you think you did until you get that sheet of paper youre not assured.

I am making some consideration to returning to school. I don't know if that's what I'll do yet. But there's not a whole lot of demand for 34 year old minor league ball players, even 35 by the time next season is upon us.
I have some experience in my family's contracting business but Blasgirl doesn't really want to move and my family is over 400 miles from here. If I was single I'd be on the bulldozers now. If no other viable options emerge we may have to move so I can work there but for now I'm trying to stay here and find suitable work.

Classic: Have you considered being the highschool coach in your local area? I'm not 100% sure, but to coach, I think you have to be employed by the school in another fashion. But he could also work as a substitute teacher, maintenance, custodian, etc...

That possibility is open actually. He has investigated the possibilities of that. Weasel2htm, it depends on the School district. Some demand he is employed by the School system not all other so require that. Coaching Baseball for the School is not a fulltime job so even if he does that he would need to have other employment.
