We are up to 5 on the famous deaths in the last 10 days or so.
It started with Ed McMahon. Granted he was 86 so that's not so unusual. Ed was the famous voice who would introduce Johnny Carson with Heeerrrrssss Johnny on the Tonight Show. He also promoted Publishers Clearing house. In my family we would like to say 'Lets see if Ed McMahon came' meaning I'm going to check the mail.
Next we had Michael Jackson, the king of pop who dies unexpectedly.
The last time I remember something causing this much stir, I was about 6 years old when Elvis Presley died.
Billy Mays died unexpectedly a couple days later. I always had fun questioning the real value of 'Mighty Putty' but Billy Mays seemed to sell it well.
Famous actor Karl Malden died at age 97. He played many roles but most notable police Lieutenant. He was also the spokes man for the American Express card famously saying, 'The American Express card, don't leave home without it.'
Sunday former football probowl quarterback Steve McNair is shot to death in a condominium.
I'm a sports fan, my son is especially partial to football. He kind of liked the quarterback term 'to the air McNair' that kind of made my son a fan of McNair.
Now this is the legacy McNair leaves is that instead of being the great football star he turns out being disloyal to his wife and is found dead in a woman's apartment.
There's more than 1 tragedy there.

You forgot Farrah Fawcet.
They're dropping like flies this year, and imagine more will be next. It's sad especially when it's foul play or unexpected.

They say things happen in threes, perhaps we got two sets of three this time.
I hope this is it for a while.
