Harry is part beagle, and part Jack Russell Terrier, and probably some other breeds as well. We got him at the animal shelter when he was 7 months old.

About 2 1/2 years (we don't know exactly what day his birthday was, but it was in March 2005).

I got 2 Jack Russel Terriers, one Rat and one Calico Longhair cat.
Dogs: Jack - the hyper runt. Russell - the foot warmer.
Rat: Bobby - the bottomless pit when it comes to food.
Cat: Diva - the be'atch.
[Notice how I named my dogs? That's so I wouldn't forget what their breed was. They're pure breeds w/ papers....but neutered. I kick myself every day since I found out their value as studs.]

Congratulations. Parakeets are cool, too. And rats. And hedgehogs. And reptiles. And fish. werwife and I have two Mini Schnauzers that we adore. We also have two bettas (Siamese fighting fish), in seperate bowls. Harry is deep-blue/purple, and Harry is all red. We're fond of them, too.

You named both your Betas 'Harry'? lol.
"I'm Duane. This is my brother Darrell. This is my other brother Darrell."
lol.
I had a Beta, once. My wife's not so keen on the 'temperature matters' side of fish.

I can't believe how cold some fish like their water.
Not that my last comment was here or there.
Jason has his birds. I built them a nice big cage for his room it goes floor to ceiling. It's 2 feet deep and 11 feet wide. I stepped in the other day to fix a perch and accidently shook Greenboy's platform and startled him. He flew right into me and his beek punctured the side of my nose. It's funny but I'm lucky it wasn't my eye. He got knocked a little loopy but he was ok in a few minutes.
I come down stairs bleeding from my nose only to have my wife laugh because a 3oz budgie attacked me and cut me.

That sounds like a very big cage for two little birdies how nice to be so kind to them.

I agree. That's a whole lot of roamin' room if a full-sized Phil can "step in".
Is it all metal bars and such? Like a real cage? If so, you could make a killin' making those for retail - there's a lot of bird lovers out there who'd love to have something like that.
[In character] In fact, me parrot*,,,,,'PhilDHoles'** could use one, yar.
*I just invented a fake parrot, just now. **I named him after my Sgt nemesis....lol

Cats seem to have a variety of personalities more than some other pets.
