The Lakers are the front runners for sure, but so were the Detroit Red Wings yet the Penguins have tied the series up so you never know.

Yeah, congrats to the Lakers and fans. A dominating team to say the least.  I noticed that too, Phil, about the home and way formats. The NBA uses the baseball formula for the finals, the 2-3-2 home-away format. The rest of the playoffs are like the NHL with the 2-2-1-1-1. It's the same number of games home and away, but splitting the last three games up like that creates a little more intrigue I think. |
