With my new cam and stuff, I thought I'd start my own thread. This way, I don't fill up the 'YouTube' thread with just my stuff! ;D
I'll start with my Mino debut - also posted in 'YouTube':
Some of the split second timing went off mark when I uploaded this. Makes me angry but, it's close enough.

That's quite a video Mahnarch. It sums up fast what truckers go through everyday. ;D

True that. It's supposed to represent one day of driving but, it took me a week's worth to get everything together - what with rain, no activity, filmus interuptus, etc. ....wait...by "quite a video"... is that a compliment or an expression of wonder?

I see we have like a new network going. I'm NBC, Mahnarch is ABC and the General youtube thread is CBS. It's amazing how much better CBS has gotten since Dan Rather has been fired.

I don't watch regular TV so, I'm not sure about this Dan Rather thing. I watch all my TV on the internet on ImDb through Hulu. Watch what I want. When I want (when I can). I hear Fox is getting racy. I want to be that one!

I should probably post some new videos soon. I've been busy with school and stuff but once that's over I can find some new material.

Wiped out the barricade. Laughing out loud right now. I think everybody was doing ok until they got on your case. I could see keeping that man in Chicago because they may have needed him to bring something back. It ends up they didn't but that's life so it inconviences everybody a half hour. Not a huge amount of time. It would have put everybody out more than 30 mins if they had sent him only to find out they did need him to bring that back from Chicago.
Hell 1/2 hour down time once in a while is to be expected. If lazy craps are willing to give of themselves for the good of the job and stay an extra half hour, they don't lose anything in that particular day's activities.
And yes I have often stayed an extra half hour or more to finish a job.

The kicker is: 3rd shift starts at at 11PM! They were barely punched in at that time.
I think it was more the hi-lo driver not wanting to receive my one skid because, apparently, she's not in 'Receiving'. But, she's the highest ranking material handler on the clock at that time.
We've got the wheels rolling, though. I called Kathy (the RM) and talked to my boss. I think that Rita is going to get a talking to.
The barricade was set up in the middle of the road - at the intersection. They're doing construction on the other end of the road so, they put that one up at this end so people wouldn't round the corner and find out the road is closed.
Well..... I caught it with my trailer. I probably pushed it 6-7 feet - and then it went over, somewhat.
This is not the first time I've been forced to do this. Last year an orange barrel took one for the team in downtown Grand Rapids.... I ended up having to climb up on a curb to get that one from under my rear axles.

They don't leave you much room on that bridge to swing the BigRig through.

Construction crews usually only think of the 5ft long 4 wheeler.
...."Oh! Why did that T/T take out 30 barrels?!!"
-grr.

Me thinks that Aido sent me this Sea Container.... ;D
Hello back, Ireland!!!
I wish I had a sharpie to write "Hello from Michigan!" but, I didn't.
I had one the next day but, the trailer was gone. Probably on it's way to China, or somewhere.

That's interesting. But I see the accurate side of it because when you 1st mentioned this I wrinkled my 4head, yeah those deep lines, about trailers going over seas but I'm fully aware they put them on flat railroad cars so why not on container ships?
I like to see the Mack. Does it have a Bulldog hood symbol?

It's still weird to me, too about the sea containers.
I've hauled many and I've seen them taken from a trailer and put, double stacked, on a train. (Imagine it..... A sea container that I hauled may have passed through your rail yard - most likely did - and went on to the Atlantic Ocean to be put on a ship...)
The bulldog on the Mack hood is about 3 inches tall and wears a collar that says "Mack" on it. It's like a small statute and looks awesome from the front but, when you're driving it you're looking at a dog's butt for 8 hours...... lol.
It's surprisingly detailed for a hood ornament.
I have new vids.
One I did yesterday and one I did today.
Phil saw this one, I see.
I could've borrowed your hard hat. That's for sure....
The subtle wussification of the air horn.

The air horn has been Wussified. That's symbolic of society getting weaker. That's what Classic, Phil, Mahnarch and Jersey Life are battling against and I salute you all for standing tall.
