With the recent events with the Maersk Alabama and the Somalian threats to 'savage all Americans' the U.S. Congress is thinking about re-establishing Privateteering.
Privateteering is just like Pirating but, you're working for the government under a writ of .....brain fart..... (legalness, anyway.)
You get to sail the sea. Intercept any pirates. Take "care" of them, any way you see fit [sans prosecution] and you get to keep any booty you collect.
Anyone want to join in on this sea voyaging adventure?
We can dress in full Pirate attire and carry cutlasses. But, you'll be issued a Glock Model 22, 0.40 caliber [180 grain, hollow point] side arm and an AK47 over your shoulder.
You will also have to know how to load, prime, light and reload a standard cannon - and know the difference between 'Port' and 'Starboard'.

I'm in, too!
All we need to do is:
Get a boat! Get some pirate dress! Get some grog!
...and get me over my deathly fear of large bodies of open water!
Oh, and some bullets - and grog..

Pirate dress is easy. Grog you have to mix but it's a formula of rum and water.
I'm a knight of Coulubus so I have a sward. Guns are a must.

OH? Are you REALLY a KoC?
That's awesome. As you know, I have several swords but, I have no sabres or rapiers.

I remember this video Phil. It took me a long time to find it. You have a million videos. There's the video I remember it because my Dad is a Knight a Color Guard Knight like you. Classic is a Knight too but he is not Fourth Degree he is third Degree. I don't really know how it works but I do know that Classic doesn't have the cape and hat but my Dad does and that's because you have to be a Fourth Degree Knight to be in Color Guard. I just called my Dad and asked him what the criteria was I am not pretending I knew that.

*snort* you get BOOTY! hahahahaha! Demona gets into this pirate works. Mrs.Blast you have a good memory. I had even forgotten doing a video in my color guard cape and garb. Your father is right. There are 4 degrees each has a couple steps within the degree. If Classic is 3rd degree he is a 'full fledged' Knight. That means he can be elected to offices and even be his council's Grand Knight. Any 1st degree member can attend council meetings. You have to be 4th degree to be in guard but thats the only demand. Any 4th degree Knight can join color guard.

I couldn't resist, it was too easy. ;D
I don't know exactly what that group is, but I don't think I've heard good things about it. I'll look at the site when I come around to it.

You don't hear "Good things" because the media doesn't want you to.
Has everything you've heard about the Michigan Militia been from the papers? Or, from people who've heard it from the papers?
Was the Sentinel at any of the TEA parties on April 15, that you know of?
It's media influence. Pure and simple. I don't blame you for your skeptical views. I just hope you'll look into the matter when you get a chance.
You KNOW me... Do I seem like a fanatic?

I can't remember what was said, but yes they made the group sound pretty out there. Like anti government or some type of revolutionaries maybe? I don't know you really good offline, but you sure don't come off as a nut.

I hope I'm not a nut.... ;D
No. The MM is simply a group that trains and keeps up to date on political and military events going on around the world.
We're "Right to Bear Arms" people who know our stuff and - if push came to shove - we'd be the people you'd want hunkered down in a foxhole with you. (probably a foxhole we dug out).
The MM is simply a civilian military. Not as strict but, has our own code of conduct. Basically the same Domestic Military that B.O. wanted..... only we won't bust down your door at 2AM because your dog is barking and the neighbors complained.
...and, we fund ourselves.

There's a differnce between having a sense of humor and being a nut.
Some of the people who are pestering me, and charges are pending against them, can't get off the troll search videos.
'you're a grown man, how can you think trolls live under bridges are you some kind of weirdo?'
Why bother? If they don't see the humor in a video go blow.

I read it!
Good job, Jersey!
Now, I'll need to you to acquire some tinder, nails and....whatever else they make stoutly ships out of.
I'd like the new Scourgin' Chipmunk to have a full-sized table tennis court and a movie theatre!
[I just realized that PMs aren't public knowlede.....
The original Scourgin' Chipmunk ran afoul of a reef off the coast of Guam. Many men died and we sank.
Jersey has blood coursing his veins, and relations that can build a new, hardier ship fer the mighty Capt. Mahnarch!
This time, twice as big and twice the draft.
1.000,000 gallons of water!]
