I seen and heard this on the radio and televiewer.
I'm not a sports follower but, I can still feel the mourning for this loss.
So young. So promising.

This is so terrible. It's just this poor guy never bargains for this. Some drunk bum not only hits him and kills him but tries to flea.
Classic told about a former teammate who was found shot in a Crackhouse that was a tragic young death but at least that guy was doing wrong things so the death was a result of a bad decision he made. Not terrible pot like like Nick Adenhart.

I was just relating this to my mum.
It would be like me finally signing a big screenplay or book deal and was asked to fly out to CA for a meeting. And my plane went down.
Of course, if I flew myself it wouldn't happen but, still.
He finally met his big break.....and now this.

I think it would be more like some stupid loser causing the plane to crash through no fault of your own. This is so terrible. I don't have the words. |

It is just terrible. I agree with everybody else that this not only is so terrible it didnt have to happen. If that drunk driver reportedly at this time with a suspended license was more responsible this would not have happened. Drive sober or dont drive. Instead kill some people you dont even know. I think 3 other people were killed in that accident besides Adenhart.

OK. To make it even - the pilot was piss drunk when he boarded. Of course, I'd still be able to break into the cockpit and take over. Get vectors from ARTCC and be fine. So, It still doesn't add up..  |
