A gun-toting grandmother who shot a man she says tried to mug her is now being sued by him for $5million (£3.5m).

Wheelchair-bound Margaret Johnson, whose grandfather was a notorious crime boss who inspired a character in the film Shaft, admits shooting Deron Johnson in the arm in Harlem with her licensed .357 Magnum.

Now that he is suing her, the 59-year-old says she wished she had killed him when she had a chance.

If any judge rules against this fine example of an American, I hope they ride him out of town on a rail. Just the mere fact the court is carrying this case against her is a disgrace.

She should have shot him somewhere else rather than the arm...
