I'm sure that at least a couple of the members have heard about the recent tragedy in Oakland, where four police officers were shot and killed by a subhuman piece of garbage by the name of Lovelle Mixon. And I'm sure some of you can already guess what has been happening in Oakland. The proud citizens have done nothing but laugh at the tragedy against the police force and constantly praise the efforts of Mixon, who is now considered a dead "SOLDIER" who fought for his race and rights against the oppressive police in Oakland.

Four police officers are dead. Gone. Their wives, their children, are now forced to go on with the rest of their lives without husbands and fathers. The four officers were killed by a monster who was wanted by police in connection with parole violation, stemming from a conviction of assault with a deadly weapon during a robbery. He had served five years of a six year sentence in prison. After he got out, he was suspected in I believe six, SIX, rapes. When the police pulled him over, he shot and killed two motorcycle police officers. When SWAT later came to his house, they hesitated to fire on him because of liberal politics in Oakland forcing officers to think before they act; any shooting of any suspect, ARMED OR NOT, results in a conviction for the officers. Mixon shot and killed two more SWAT officers before the returning gunfire finally sent him to hell where he belongs.

His sister claims there was no reason for this to happen. Her brother was "not a monster". Not a monster?! I say Lovelle gets the monster of the year award from me in this case!! There are so many liberal articles out there praising and making excuses for Lovelle Mixon that it literally makes me sick! They praise the demon and curse the police, who dedicate their lives to protecting a city of people that obviously don't appreciate their servitude, and thus don't deserve it. I think the entire Oakland police officers should take exactly one week off work. The entire force. Let the citizens that don't appreciate their services stew in a cesspool of crime and despair for one week. Then we'll see how much they hate their police and support monstrosities like the so-called "Lovelle Mixon". They'll come back on their hands and knees BEGGING the police to come back and help them.

I wish I could agree that the police should strike. Unfortunately it's like a biblican analogy used that a farmer is told by a helper that there's weeds among the crops should they destroy the weeds, and the farmer says 'no, because if you do that now you could harm the crops so let them harvest and at harvest time I will sort out the weeds and crops.'

That meaning too many good people who do appreciate the Okland police could get hurt in the event of a strike.

This is a tragedy because it's surely a few Rebels leading the people who don't really know the whole story to believe that Lovelle Mixon is being held for a trivial thing when he Raped and Murdered.

OAKLAND, Calif. - As the city prepares for a massive public funeral for four police officers slain in the line of duty, dozens took to the streets in a show of support for the man authorities say was their killer.

Organized by International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement, the march Wednesday evening took participants near a police substation within sight of the two locations where Lovelle Mixon allegedly shot the veteran officers before being slain himself.

Loved ones and supporters walked through the streets chanting, "OPD you can't hide, we charge you with genocide!" There were no officers patrolling the march route.

"I don't condone what he did, (YEAH...SURE) but it's bringing to light the frustrations between the community and the police," said Uhuru Movement member Kihad Deen. "This gives people a chance to speak their minds."

Mixon's cousin, Dolores Darnell, 26, addressed the small crowd, calling him "a true hero, a soldier."

"This is the real Lovelle," she said, holding a picture of a smiling Mixon with his wife. "We do apologize for what he did to the officers' families. But he's not a monster."

Authorities say a day before the shooting the 26-year-old fugitive parolee was linked by DNA to the February rape of a 12-year-old girl who was dragged off the street at gunpoint.

The event took place a day after a city-sponsored gathering drew about 1,000 people to the crime scene to honor the slain officers: Sgt. Mark Dunakin, 40; John Hege, 41; Sgt. Ervin Romans, 43; and Sgt. Daniel Sakai, 35.

Police said Hege and Dunakin were gunned down Saturday when the two motorcycle officers pulled over Mixon. In a manhunt that followed, Romans and Sakai died when the city's SWAT team stormed an apartment where Mixon was hiding. Mixon also died in the gunfire.

Speaking at the event honoring the officers Tuesday night, Acting Police Chief Howard Jordan said the department was being sustained by an outpouring of public sympathy that included flowers, food, donations for the officers' families and more than 3,000 e-mails, cards and calls.

"It speaks volumes for us. To see so many people here today, in the very same community we lost four officers, means so much to us," Jordan said, noting that the condolences have far exceeded any hints of criticism. "We're going to get through this, with the support of our families and with the support of you, the community."

Meanwhile, the state inspector general said Wednesday that Mixon was properly monitored by corrections officials after he was released from prison in November. Mixon was wanted on a parole violation when the shootings happened, although it is not yet known whether that was the reason Hege and Dunakin pulled him over on Saturday afternoon.

Sgt. Dom Arotzarena, president of the Oakland Police Officers Association, said Wednesday that the rank-and-file is trying to cope with the tragedy while preparing for a public funeral Friday that is expected to fill the arena where the Golden State Warriors play.

"Everyone is devastated," Arotzarena said. "Everyone is trying to seek answers to it all, including, 'Why did this happen?'

"Our reaction is no different than anyone else."

According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, 133 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty in 2008, a 27 percent decrease from year before and the lowest annual total since 1960.

Just wanted to post this article I found, displaying all the B.S. I outlined earlier. This article and this statement should help put it in perspective for those curious about why this makes me so upset.

My father is a police officer in a town that isn't quite as bad as this one, but faces many of the same issues. If something were to happen to my father in the line of duty, the citizens of this town would be celebrating in the same manner they are here. That's the reason this bothers me so much.

Looks like this is where we're at as a nation. When someone commits an act of savagery and inhuman cruelty, such as the V. Tech massacre two years ago, or this crime here, it is everybody elses fault. Never the fault of those that do it.

Obviously I feel the same way Phil, Mahnarch and Jersey Life do on most things. And I should have added Blastgirl's name to that list but That usually goes without saying you think similar on most things or you can't live with someone.

Obviously these people are looking at this bum as if he's a maverick. He is not a Maverick he is a moron and it's time people realized that.

I dont think the guy was fighting for ''his race agnist opressive oakland cops'' he just sounded like lunatic with a gun who went on a rampage, I mean a cops death is tragic and should not be celebrated, I guess people are still bitter about that incident in Oakland where that young guy at a train station was shot the the back while handcuffed for no reason. The citizens are protesting the wrong police officers, I have some relatives who stay in Oakland and the Bay Area and my Grand parents stay near Oakland and it gets hectic out there. The Cops were doing their job and should be rested in peace.

I think Antonio is right on with this. It's the same thing some Religious Zealots do. I don't mean sincere Ministers of Faith but radicals use their Religion to justify or convince others they're on a Mission. The mission might be cold blooded murder but they're doing it in the name of Religion to make others think they stand for something sincere since cold blooded murder is hard to sell to most people.

This man is doing the same thing only he is using Racially Oppressed as his "Common Ground" hoping to gain Public support.
