I heard this, too. I'm irate! DO NOT PUT HIM BACK INTO THE CIRCLE UNTIL AFTER THE COURTS ARE DONE WITH HIM!!! The only reason they put him back at a desk was because of the liberal F--- Offs [read: family and friends] who rallied for him. OCSD didn't want to ruffle any feathers... Well, they didn't want to ruffle any "Huizenga" feathers. "Screw the Conservatives" - they may as well have said. Mahnarch, I've been seeing lately how you call people you don't agree with liberals? Why? I don't think that's an issue here. I've been reading about it on and off in the paper. Basically editorials and articles on the front page have been a huge back and forth argument. Friends vs. Angry readers. No, he definately doesn't deserve his job back. Pot or not, protocol has to be followed. It's sad just like one person wrote in, about how one gets off light and the other will have health problems forever. The stoner will also face charges, but I don't know how far. It said something about distribution??? I can't remember if anything was said about why he had the pot, but if it was his alone, how would anyone come to the conclusion he was distributing it? Pot's illegal and for having it sure he shouldn't get off either, but not beyond whatever is called for around here. The whole thing is out of hand.

Derrick Copp is being charged with FELONY(!) possession of weed.
FELONY! For having "less than two tablespoons of marijuana in his entire apartment!
Less than two tablespoons is CLEARLY a misdemeanor!
This is clearly revenge.
Ryan Huizenga is now going to receive an APOLOGY letter from Copp "for setting up the events that lead to Huizenga shooting Copp."
This is liberal bull!
Look up 'Liberalism' and 'Left Wing', Demona. You will see how deranged these people are. It's not about money. It's about power and revenge.
The left-wing liberals are now MORE angry at the world now that they are in power than before the election - mainly because, now they have the power behind the ink to take action.....against their own mankind!
I'm angry, too. Only because my basic human rights are being striped from me, line by line, day by day by these mentally deranged liberal fanatic extremists.
Children cry at night because they don't know what day the Messiah, Obama, will come to their front door and take everything they know away.

I saw the article in today's paper, and like I said, I don't know the laws about weed. Less than a tablespoon that he was trying to sell, which must be worse than just having some. Still, if the amount matters it's going too far, especially if he has to apologize to who shot him, not the other way around. Both people are not innocent here, but shooting a person is the much worse half of it.

Exactly.
If I were the County Prosecutor in this case, I'd drop all drug charges, immediately - Ex Po Facto..... as long as that means "No matter what".
He wasn't selling drugs. He was buying - in small quantity - from his 'back door porch'.
Huizenga went into Copp's house with his finger ON the trigger.
This is 100% Huizenga - yet the OCSD relented to 20 people (friends and family) and gave Ryan his job back for the time being.
After his (Ryan's) hearing, what's he going to do? Stand up from his desk and walk into the nearest cell to 'arrest' himself?
pfftt.
I need some of that 'Angry Dragon Sake' you speak so fondly of.

Lol, Angry Dragon Sake Bar was on a T Shirt I used to wear alot. That wole apology from the victim is certainly bullcrap, like it's his fault he was shot.

You're both right. Too many times am I seeing/hearing: "She dressed too scantily. She deserved to be raped." "He was standing too close. He deserved to be stabbed." "It was the last 'Tickle Me Elmo'. She deserved to be head butted."

She deserved to be head butted." Of course. Everybody has a reason why they do something but like you said it doesn't make it right. I woudln't run over a neighbor kids bicycle if he hadn't left it in the driveway. It shoudln't be left there but if it is that doesn't mean I can knowingly run it over and have no remorse about it at all.
