It looks like the Illinois state legislation has decided to impeach Rod Blagojevich after all.
That only means they will have a hearing that does not mean he will be removed from office but it's not just going to fade into a forgotten event.
I think he should be held accountable if he has broken the law. Politicians and other celebrities seem to get away with much more than they should that way.

I think you can expect him to be gone this time. I don't think this is going to just blow over like so many things like this have in the past. I think this got so much negative publicity and theres extra fame in this because the President Elect occupies the seat that is Blagojevich would appoint a replacement for.
Thats too much attention for this to just fade off and people shake their heads and forget about it.

I agree with Kim he's not going to be getting away with it this time. Although his appointment for the Senatorial seat might stick.

Blago's incredibly corrupt, a few years ago his 12 year old daughter got a "birthday card" from a "family friend" with thousands of dollars in it. Always knew he was going down, just a matter of when.

I already said it but this guy has gotten too much publicity I dont think its just going to blow over like so many politicians corrupt actions have.

And the people of Illinois didn't want him appointing their next Senator, unfortunately he did, and Obama's let him get away with it.
