What do you want your job to be? I have several possibilities.
I'm good at maths (one of the better in the top set) I like technology. I like sailing. I like computer games. I like badminton. iIm intelligent over all really.
Take your guess from that, as I dont know what I want to be.
What about you?

I think Math and Computer games would both lend themselves to the field of technology.
And I can see that you are intellignet. I don't know what jobs there are as a sailor but that's a possibility shipping is a big industry. It's not relaxing like a sailboat on a river on a warm day but for those who like the sea I'm sure it has its pleasure.
Badminton is wonderful.
Classic always tells people to follow your dreams.
He persued his Baseball and you wouldn't believe the amount of people that told him he should seek a "real job," because this is a dream. ALthough he hasnt' gotten to the Majors he has made a career from baseball. So it can be done.
Right now you should be having fun with life there's plenty of time to worry about what you're going to do for a job later.

You name it, I like it. unless it involves being athletic... From cooking, designing, blueprinting, drawing, animationg, programming, writing poems(yeah, shut up), riding bike, etc etc etc. So, as you can imagine, I have halfa craps' idea about what I'm gonna do.

I'm planning on either attending THE Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, or University of Toledo to study mechanical engineering and maybe some business on the side. I'll also work as an engineer for a company for a few quarters or semesters, making close to $20 an hour starting out.
All of the colleges I plan on attending are D1 NCAA teams, which means varsity athletics are pretty much ruled out. I want to maybe do some club or intramural sports or at least go to the rec center a lot.
After graduting with either an MS or a combination MBA/BS, I plan on being hired by a company (hopefully an automotive company) as an engineer starting out at the high $60,000's a year, hopefully making six figures eventually.

*stares up at the word "goal" 20 000 feet up in the atmosphere*
Yes, they are good goals. I always say (this might not make some people feel better) that if you aim very high, you'll at least get more than what you would have aimed for in a state of depression.
Ooh, that sounds quotable.

Yes Raider.
My Husband is a good example again.
He would have wanted to play Major League baseball. That hasn't happend. He's at an age where we know that's not going to happen. But he aimed to be a Major Leaguer. So he playes professional baseball.
Which is more than he would be if he listened to everyone who told him to, "get a real job."

It isnt bad playing in a lower league is it? It can be just as fun, even if there are not as many people to watch you. Have you got any photos of the pitch and stands?

It's wonderful actually. Classic is a pretty good hitter in the Minors but that's remembering that Double A pitchers aren't as fast and their curveballs don't drop as well.

*staring at words flying over the top of my head* Um, slow down a bit. I understood up to "Double".
So, it's an alright sort of rank. I got that much. (You sure know your baseball, Blastgirl. Did he make you learn about it?)
I ambitionize (?) to open a small shop selling imported foreign goods, mainly small useless doodads which seem to be made out of used coca cola cans. No, I'm joking.
My ambition is to work in an EB games outlet, as a customer service person who actually knows what WFC is, (met one that didn't, once. *Curses PSP's popularity*) can give gameplay hints (most of them are just used to finding the disks and packaging the game) and has a mental cheat code collection ranging in the thousands. (*glances at Gamewinners.com and IGN* Who, me?)
Yeah, so that's all I want. You get to watch the game demos all day, and if you're bored and no-one's in the shop... ;D

Raider. How funny. Cusstomer relations is not the most thankful of jobs I would give you tons of credit for wanting to do that.
I learned a lot more about Baseball after I met Classic but my Family is sports based anyway. My Dad is a big sports fan especially Baseball. And there were three girls before he got a Son so we kind of got into sports early ages.

It's good to be interested in outdoorsy sports. Yes, I do want to be a checkout-type-customer-relations person. I think it would be fun, !>fun<!, to talk to people.
And you know how annoying it is when they put the case on display but don't have the disk for it? I consider Mc. Donalds the current leader in giving reconciliation (normally in the form of a chocolate sundae) for slow service, but, well. That might change. I just like the idea of relating with people on a subject I enjoy.
The job itself of packaging the game and finding stuff is just a piffly little side issue to me. (I have mad skillz jamming disks into cases quickly, I assure you.)

if you like tech support, read computer stupidities. it will either change your mind or make you like the idea even more. It sounds pretty fun to me.

I don't have a glamoerous career of any kind. But I do have a good job. I'm not living any dreams but when I was 19 years old I got the interview to get a part time position with the railroad.
After about 6 months I got hired full time, union, benefits and the whole 9 yards. 14 years later I'm still there. It's not bad work but it's not real thrilling either. It raises kids and a family though.
I never really had 1 specific dream as a child except maybe to be an ailine captain but I knew even then that would probably not be the reality.
