The fourth of july!

I know this is a bit late, but if you live in the USA, how was your fourth of July? Did you have a party? Did you watch awesome fireworks, or did you set off your own?

My family was invited to a party at our friend's house, and we had a perfect view of the fireworks from the hill they live on. I even got a few good pictures of them with my half-cruddy camera.

The fireworks display we saw was incredible. Some were squigly, some were shaped like smiley faces, and some were just HUGE.
My camera will only take a picture when there is enough light, so I got very few good pictures. About five out of forty-two turned out good, so I'll put some here.

We had a nice holiday on the 4th. We went to a baseball game as a family and had some supper and went to a fireworks display.

Thanks! As marc explained, yes I took them. Fireworks are really easy to photograph as long as you have a steady object to put the camera on. Otherwise you end up with a big blur. I had my camera balanced on a fence whenever I took a photo, so all I had to do was time it so I didn't photograph the aftermath or beginning of a firework.

I'm glad you had a good time, and I hope everyone else did too. Its hard not to enjoy yourself on the 4th.

Ah yes sorry I forgot to make an actual post here. Those are some pretty good pictures.

As for my 4th of July, I did chores and argued with my mother most of the day, that night I spent at this annoying kids house with ETK lighting off fireworks.

I also found a girls hoodie in this church and took it. Hoorah!

Some poor girl is looking for her hoodie but obviously its a finders keepers world.

They're still shooting off fireworks around here. I don't mind but They're doing that.

My parents are here for the week and my brother Thunderbird hit town this morning and will be here until Monday night. I don't see my family that much.

There was a big display that just ended about half hour ago. It was only about half a mile from here and we could see it from home.
