The Red Sox proved some serious character tonight. Trailing badly rallying to win 8-7 and overcame a huge deficit.
Obviously I realize that its never over until it's over but even as a player in games like that you usually figure you're donefor.
I am entirely sure that once the 2 run homer came making it 7-4 that's when the players would feel as if they suddenly have a chance. There's a huge difference between 3 runs and 5 when you're in the game believe me.
So it's a good series.

what would you tell your teammates if they are the devilrays classic?
how could they overcome a loss of a big lead and a loss when the series should be over the momentem has probably gone the other way by now
i am sure if you are boston its a 2nd chance at life in a way but how does tampa get back in focas when that happems?
tampa has 2 tries to get to the world series boston only has 1.

The Red Sox have the momentum now. I would say its an upset if they didnt win now.

Do people STILL not know it's just the Tampa Bay Rays now? Old habits are hard to break buddy. It's like the Anaheim Ducks instead of Mighty Ducks but a lot of people have a hard time remembering to just say Ducks. Most people I know tend to say California Angels still rather than Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. My father has to make an effort to say Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens rather than Baltimore Colts. I think most people know it is now the Tampa Bay Rays though.

Poo-Poo on So Cal. BOTH the Dodgers and the Angels were shut out. Sorry Beangirl being a PA boy I felt I had to pull for the Phillies. Classicblast shoudl be a Phillies player. Well I tend to favor the NL because I am a Phillies and Pirates fan so I would have supported the Dodgers even if they had beat the Phillies. It's 2-1 Tampa and I'm about 20 minutes later than I usually leave but its such a good game I pushed it a bit but I will now be heading to work so I will not be able to watch the rest of it.

For this year Pennsylvania wins the bragging rights. So I am pleased for my commonwealth.
