I would be currently in high school, but I plan to get a master's degree like my parents so hopefully that works out.
I'm not trying to embarrass anyone, I've always been curious about this.

High school with a year of college. I graduated high school in 1989 and went to college. In May of 1990 I got a summer job with the company I work for now. I got a little wrapped up in the paycheck and at the age of 19 I probably could not have made an equal salary when September rolled around I had a chance to receive fulltime status but I wouldn't be able to go back to school.
Since I couldn't do both I kept the job thinking I might go to school another time later. That never happened.
Sometimes I think I should have gotten a 4 year degree and seen what my options are but it's over and done with now. However I have 18 years with the company, my kids are fed my bills are paid and life isn't bad.

Associates in building trades. However instead of going into the family business I have pursued a baseball career as my scholarship was from baseball to begin with.
I don't know much about motorcycles Farti1 but are Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha bikes totally different from a Harley Davidson?

I'm in college. Right now, I'm going part-time at my church's small Bible college (I'm taking American Literature and Music Theory I). But since I graduated at 17 and since I don't have my license (don't ask), I kind of have a year where I can't do a whole lot.
However, next year I hope to start the fall semester at Full Sail University in Florida. Then, I want to transfer from there to the University of Glasgow -- all the way over in Scotland! I'm going for a degree in music and audio engineering, and I want to minor in journalism.
If all goes well, when I get to Scotland, a longtime friend that lives over there and I will be starting a band. If that works out... well, we'll have to see, eh?

That's some pretty longterm planning _glitch_. What do you ultimately want to do for a job?
I would like to eventually get a job with a newspaper. We have decided I'll wait until our Sons are in school before I go back to work though.
I just felt weird working for the offices of the team once Classic had changed teams. And this was a good time to become a stay home Mom.

I don't know much about motorcycles Farti1 but are Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha bikes totally different from a Harley Davidson? HD's use the same brand carburetor, suspension components, electrical parts and tires as the Japanese brands I service! The big difference is the engine assemblies. HD uses a engine design that goes back to the 1930's that has been updated and vastly improved over the years. The Japanese engine designs are mostly based on 1970 thru mid 1980's with many updates and improvements since. The main thing is they all are fun to ride!

I guess I am living proof that it is possible to find a decent job without a degree but I still suggest getting that degree.
Not that I plan on changing jobs anytime soon or really probably ever for that matter. But if I did want to make a career change at 37 my options are somewhat limited to something similar to what I am doing now unless I was willing to take a substantial paycut until I learned a whole new occupation.
With a wife and 3 kids that's really not realistic an option.

Higher education is always a good thing.
Some people need to know when to finally go to work though. I know some people well into their 30s who have been students all their life. They go to a brief job situation and continue to go to school mainly because of government grants and manage to be little more than a student.
Obviously this person isn't really planning on going into the field they're kind of milking the system and taking advantage of some experiences that are available through a curriculum. Like going to Africa to study something for example. Going to Australia to study kangaroos. Obviously I understand that you may have to go somewhere to learn more. Yet so many of these people are not on the cusp of really making that knowledge come into use. Instead they're using their studies as a chance for adventure.
I would never put restrictions on someone's education on a basis of age but how long does one study to become whatever they're seeking?
