Some of my colleagues were sent to New Orleans for clean up on hurricane Gustav. They probably wont send me they try not to send married guys unless they're really in need of people.
I realize that the degree of the cane is not to the detestation of Katrina from 3 years ago but there's a lot of work to do and a lot of damage to repair.

That's something that scares me because its like you have no control. You just ahve to evacuate teh area hope it passes without too much damage and repair whatever damage is done.
That kind of devastation is just shocking to me.

Same thing happened in my town, Mist. No rain, just wind. There are a lot of down trees and tree limbs. The power came back on early Monday morning where I live, and the cable came back on yesterday. I also didn't have to go to work on Monday or Tuesday, since there was no power at the restaurant I currently work at.

i didnt have school untill today wednesday due to the hurricane I have had things canceled because of weather and possible natural disasters. The thing is nobody knows how to approach it. Sometimes theres panic and nothing really happens and I have also seen smack weather. I've been literally 10 miles from a hard snowstorm when hardly anything happened where I was. I grew up in the northern US.
