I don't know much about Biden other than he is a Senator from Delaware and supposedly a moderate less liberal politically than Obama.
The word in the street is Biden is expected to be formally proclaimed the Vice Presidential candidate for Obama.
I intend to vote for McCain anyway so it doesn't matter.
But looking objectively it's probably a good choice for a far left liberal to choose someone closer to the middle.

In contrast, I think McCain, who is a fairly moderate Republican, should pick someone with solid credentials as a conservative.

i dont plan on who the president is going to be. i am not old enough to vote so nobody cares who I would vote for.
i think that we have had enouf layers being president its more a common guys time.
a war general is closer than a lawyer to common but I think the president shoudl be somebdoy who didnt always make 100,000 a year all their life .

my dad said that Joe Biden copyed a speach from a political leader from another country and when he got caught he said he had anerism trouble and that made his thoughts unclear.

I like Joe Biden I heard some good and bad things about him, I think he is a good choice for Obama since he is more in the middle rather than a hardcore liberal. Just like I believe Mccain is better off choosing a running mate with conservative views rather than someone who is in the middle very insteresting choice though.

I agree McCain should seek a conservative VP. I don't think that you should seek anybody who has views too far different from yours or too much like your opponents in an election situation.
I'm a 3rdbaseman not a Governor though.

I never thought of Biden. I remember him from the hearings of Clearance Thomas but thats all I know about Biden other than what has already been posted.
He did say on CNN about 2 years ago he was running in 2008 and if he lost to McCain he will have lost to a great man. I bet he regrets saying that now because thats tough to live down while youre the opponent.

The thing is I vote for Republicans because of social values. Otherwise I think Jesse Ventura is right the 2 parties are similar with a slightly different approach. Just like his analogy he says that they're like Coke and Pepsi, they're similar with a few differences.
I work in a union place and as a result most unions are always endorcing the Democrat nomatter who it is or how he/she stands on major minor issues of any kind. Unions almost alwasy support Democrats without evaluating issues very much at all. That's mostly why my union hates me I'm not 1 to vote because my union votes that way.
I vote on what I think is important. It just seems that modern Democrats don't have much of a backbone about military issues. And they're for liberal things I can't agree with.
