I would hate to be called any of those names. Except Vix Vix McVix, of course. I'dlike to be called Vix Vixor McVixington. How about a name like 'Six' (Blossom), or 'Seven' (Married....with Children.) Certain Native Americans used to name their children after the first thing they saw after birth. How'd you like to be named 'Humping Dog', 'Pooping Bear', or 'Mother of Gods, What the hell is that?!'.....

I couldnt imagine naming a kid Moon or Rain or anything.
There have been a few though River Phoenix and his sister Rain.
I dont see naming a kid anything like that.

You're in an office cubicle and you hear a 'whish whash whish whash'
"Do I hear Denim approaching?"
In fact, yes. You do.

Then there's always George Foreman who named all his sons George.
That could be considered an ego thing but then again it could save a little time.
Instead of 'Ronald, John, Sally, Susan, Peter, Michael, Jennifer, Robert, dinner time....' you could just yell 'George! Dinner time' and be done with it.

Ha! I saw an interview with George, once. He joked that: After so many years of boxing, that's the only name he could remember. youtube.com/watch?v=fd-mX0rMLIYMost of it's in German, but the interviewer talks to G in English and the audience in German. He's like the Conan of Germany.

I mildly dislike those names, but I attribute it to my taste.
"Cutesy" names are the ones I dislike. Brittanny, Amber, etc.
And, of course, the ridiculous hippy names: Rainbow, River, Sky, whatever. Yeesh!

Yeah that is kind of stupid. 'Hi, I'm Forest, this is my wife Moon. This is my son River, my daugher Rainbow. Our family theme is nature.' Yeahhhhhh!'
Like you said ridiculous. Like the extreme version of the Partridge family.

Letting a 3 year old name themselves......what?

Yeesh! It's funny, or maybe it's just my experience, but it seems girls with those names, ya know, Brittney, Amber, Ashley, Alana, Brianna, are bratty b1tches.

I know a lot fo Ambers, I know a couple Ashleys, I know about two Brittneys I can't think of any Alana or Briannas. Some names have a pattern though. I have experienced that.
