Right now I Pray and show concern for California and the twenty-four reported fires.
I think of our Board Members like Beangirl, Possum Jenkins, TC23 (I know he hasn't been active lately but he is a California guy), There's some other Western Coast Members I feel concerned for and wish for some relief because even if your home in not in direct danger there's a big problem to contain the fires and I hope that relief is on the way real fast.

It's way better now than it was about 3 weeks ago. The sky is blue instead of a pale yellow. We almost had to evacuate because of air quality.

I'm glad things are improving.
Make sure you protect yourself. Don't refuse to evacuate if that's really what you should do. I hope for the best for all of you on the left coast.

Im from Long Beach the fires seem to be happening in the Northern part.

The Queen Mary is the stupidest thing. I got cruise boarding pass there, it just takes up space.

Isn't it a hotel with restaurants, and tours while also serving as a maritime floating museum?
I think it would be neat to board an oceanliner. In this coast we have the USS United States in Philadelphia. If they ever restore that for the same purpose like they're saying they're going to I will definitely take my kids to see it.

You know, the fire's wouldn't be so bad if the liberal environmentalists weren't so adamant about saving some little bird that's going to roast in the fire, anyway.
If President, I'd be down there with the firemen, where I belong, and call in farmers to turn up the land into fire breaks (clear the land and turn up the dry rot ground into new, wet soil - basically turning eveyone's yard into a farm field).
If any Enviro-nerd tries to stop me I'd have them arrested for 'Accessory to Arson' and 'Intent to do bodily harm resulting in death' if anyone died - on a Federal level.
