Some new flying pics

I went up a couple of days ago but, my photographer wasn't as willing (read: chicken)

Yes, I'm pulling the airplane.
Planes are light enough that, if you sit on the tail the nose wheel will lift off the ground.

{If you look in the background. The plane with the red pinstrip and tail that folds forward - that a Mooney. Kinda rare around here.}












If you look real close, you can see me and 3908F (spoken: Three Niner Zero Eight Foxtrot) in the clouds.

Who needs Airforce 1? Our next president can fly himself out to each location.

Dang straight!!

Only, whatever Cessna Skyhawk I'd fly would have to be outfitted with bulletproof crap - as per Secret Service.

With all that weight.....I'd be able to carry a pack of gum with me....

It'd save a lot of money.


Heh! I can see it now.

Mahnarch: "Grand Rapids Approach. Skyhawk 1."
GRR Approach: "Skyhawk 1?....Uhhhh... Grand Rapids.
Mahnarch: "Grand Rapids. Skyhawk 1 is one-five mile south of Grand Rapids. Two Thousand Five Hundred. Inbound to land. With information Juliet."
GRR: "Is this President Mahnarch?"
Mahnarch: "Affirmative. This is Skyhawk 1."


GRR goes crazy to put me first in line to let me land.

Of course, I'd be on an IFR flight plan, so they'd expect me ahead of time.
But, if I decided to go VFR then they'd be in shock.

Also, of course, if I were President, I'd learn to fly Chopper 1 (The Pres' helicopter)

Can you imagine the news on that?

WZZM13 News reports that Chopper 1 landed at GRR tonight but, with a twist.
If you look at the video you'll notice....who is that at the controls?......That's right! The President!....

I'd be all up ons.
The landing crew would think I was the regular pilot until I pulled off the helmet and shades.

Also, in a Presidential parade, I'd pull a motorcycle cop to the side (when no one is looking) and switch clothes with him.
He rides in Limo 1 while I get to ride his bike in the motorcade.

See if anyone notices.

Flying is fun for a passenger too but I have to think it's even more amazing viewing things from the cockpit.
