In my latest news, my mum's moved into my house and she's a neat freak - slash - interior decorator. She took all of my swords and a painting I've had for years and started my own 'Man Wall', to off set all her knick-knacks she's putting up. Check out the awesomeness that is starting to be my wall: ....just ignore the fly strip...I live in the country, remember. My newest knife added to my collection: The 'Wall of Fam' ['Family']

That is definitely a guy's livingroom. But it looks nice.

Heh, it's a big improvement over a mostly bare wall. The only things I had up before was a huge poster of an airplane POV from the cockpit on the tarmac and a map of Morrowind: Elder Scrolls world (one of my RPGS - I always got lost in-game). I'm not a big "stuff on the wall hanger-upper-guy". I don't have an eye for decoration. *** Thanks. The painting is something I got with 'Kilgorn, the Sword of Darkness'. (An excerpt from a paper I got with it:) "Evil was born to Ammon in the shape of the Dark One, said to be one of the original Anath in ages of old, and he wielded the first sword 'Kilgorn', from which he drew his power. He made his abode in Lokonia, the underworld, where he created the Barumen, foul, horned creatures with three pupiled eyes that were bred of men, wolf, and ape; and he gathered them in numbers to create the Black Legion, an army that spread like a pestilence throughout the land...."Wow, that reads like some ancient Bible, or something. It'd probably make a good movie. Anyway, the painting has 'The Dark One' at the top of some stairs, standing over a fallen warrior while a lady-warrior kneals, holding the 'Sword of Light' wearing.....not a whole lot.

You've got quite an impressive collection of swords.

That new knife you have is pretty sweet. I'm planning on hanging up my stuff too in the next couple weeks.

All I have in my "office" (the first room in the basement) is a Rammstein poster, a Sephiroth wall scroll, and a Kadaj poster. My desk has painted ceramic dragons on top, and lots of clutter. Heaven forbid anywhere else gets messy, my mom would pitch a coniption fit.

It's a super wall. It's like my office. The thing is if I did get married I would have to soften the appearance of my house some because it's definitely a bachelor's house. Even though it's big, its rustic and not really familylike.
I would be willing to change it for the right woman though.
Right now you can most likely tell that a bachelor lives here. I have all sports artifacts in my livingroom, even my dining room is a blue collar steakhouse style rather than cultured.

Thank you, sir. And, every man needs his den - a place to dirty up and call his own. *** Yes. and that's only the beginning. I don't know if you watched my 'Tools Called Weapons' vid on the YouTube but, I have quite the extensive collection. She wants to hang all my smaller knives and 'stabby' stuff in the gap between the bigger swords and the painting. *** Awesome! I never realized that I'd had these things for so long and never displayed them. What's the point, otherwise? The funny thing about the "new" knife... My sister actually got that for me back in '02, for X-mas. I packed it away in the closet...to bring it out after the holidays......and never did. I totally forgot that I had it. It was packed under the blender (that I obviously never used). So, it's still 'new' to me! *** Demona's got her own 'Woman Cave', sounds like! We all need one, in reality. Same goes to you, thunderbird. Even if you do find the perfect woman, you must have your own room - to do whatever you want with and to keep as clean or dirty as you want (Smoke cigars. Play mini-golf. Read. Etc.) [Most men end up with 1 of the 2 bathrooms as their cave - shoot for higher than that] She can have the rest of the house but, the 'cave' is yours! I learned that in marriage counceling, so it must have some merit....even though my marriage ended in failure (thank Gaaawwdd, Jebus and the Holy Mineral Spirits!).

Most Marriage councilors are divorced anyway. Pumpkin and I have discussed how Classic could be a coach or a Manager after playing. Some of the best Managers were not high level players. Tom Kelly was Pumpkin's example. Tommy Lasorda was not that successful as a Pitcher but he sure did great things as a Manager.

Like they say, "Those who can't - teach."
Hmm, I can teach Rocket Science!!
..actually, I could probably do rocket science.

There is such a saying about those who can't teach. Its kind of like 'some of the best critics can't act.'

Mahnarch, what's on your mantle?
Classic has some of his old Tanka trucks from his childhood on ours. I have most of the closets claimed he has the the shelves and displays. I guess that's fair.

On the mantle of my fireplace? There's where I keep my collection skulls (some real, some plastic).
.....uh...the 'real' ones are of deer and raccoon skulls - not people ones.
....yet.... lol.
I also keep one of my surround sound speakers on the end cuz it's in the perfect spot.
In the dining room I have some NASCAR 1:24 die cast models, along with a 1:64 Special Edition Mobil1 car from back when Jeremy Mayfield drove it (since I worked at a Mobil station at the time).
