Mahnarch walks into Aido's house - a seven story mansion located on an isolated mountain top. Vampire bats fly off in the night as lightning flashes across the overcast sky.
A cobweb filled elevator is located in the corner.
Mahnarch grabs a, mysteriously already lit, candlabra and wipes them away and enters the rickety, old box. It descends, automatically.
A muzak version of "Lady from Tokyo" plays over the PA.
Entering the bottom floor of the elevator shaft the door swings open. A white haired old man stands in a lab coat, laughing maniacly, over a few beakers filled with variously colored fluids.
I grab his attention:
"Aido?"
The old man turns and picks up a beaker. Giggling like an madman he hands it to me.
"Driiiinnnk"
I take the beaker and sniff it. I smell nothing.
"Driiiinnnk"
I taste it - it's not too bad.
Pretty good. Is this apple juice? "Yeeeesss" What's that kick? "Whiskey!!!" So, you put whiskey in apple juice? "Yes." O.K. Fair enough but, you're a teenager. Why do you look like the mad scientist from 'Robot Chicken'? "Experiments gone awry..." ...
We sit in his lab as I ask him a few questions:
1. What color is your computer mouse? 2. What is the name of your local weather man? 3. You have a dog? 4. Can you smell the ocean from your house? 5. If you look straight up, what do you see? 6. Name one of your PC games that starts with a 'C'. 7. How many buttons do you have on the shirt you're wearing right now? 8. If you could bench press a school bus, would you? 9. You have the metric system, right? What's the #2 Combo meal called at McDonald's? 10. What color is your trash can that you pull out to the curb? 11. Sneakers or Sandles? 12. If you were a chick, how would you wear your hair? 13. How many remotes are involved in watching TV at your house? 14. You're in school, yes? What's you're locker combination? 15. Describe the largest poster on your bedroom (barring several of the same size - describe the coolest one, in such case). 16. If you made a lightsaber, what color would it be? 17. What's the pointiest thing you own? 18. Do you own any American money? 19. What do you prefer? Blondes, Brunettes, or Redheads? 20. How thick is your local phone book (the white one, not the yellow one)?
Whew! Took a day and a half (work interfered) but, I finally got this one done!

aw dude! I got an exclusive! yay.
I love your description...hehe whiskey and apple juice!
ok i'll attempt these!!!!!!!
1. What color is your computer mouse? silver and black! it has a black base with a silver part your hand rests on. the scroll wheel light up too!
2. What is the name of your local weather man? i...dont know! we dont believe the weather on tv. its the internets for us finely tuned sailors!
3. You have a dog? i wish! god I would love to have a dog I could train to find random objects. that would be so cool. you bring him to a party and tell him to search.....a minute later he comes back with...i actually spent a while thinking of what he would come back with! I got nothing. i do have two cats though..well the familly does, I take no ownership in them!
4. Can you smell the ocean from your house? yes...but its like one of those smells that you dont notice after a while. like fertiliser. I probably cause the smell though. with all the time I spend in the sea.
5. If you look straight up, what do you see? ceiling.....
6. Name one of your PC games that starts with a 'C'. 'C'-americas cup sailing simulator.....sorry.
7. How many buttons do you have on the shirt you're wearing right now? T all the way dude! been working in the sailing club today...over 100 little boats from all over the country have covered the grounds and were all out sailing today. a lot of hard work was to be done...shirts are just too constricting. i do wear them when im gigging with the band though!
8. If you could bench press a school bus, would you? why not? it would have to be full though. then I would tip it up and shake it a bit. just to scare them!
9. You have the metric system, right? What's the #2 Combo meal called at McDonald's? depends...whats in it? 10. What color is your trash can that you pull out to the curb? dark grey...something like black. its got wheels on it so you can roll it out!
11. Sneakers or Sandles? sneakers...or as they are called here: runners. come to think of it, I really need new sneakers. the sole is about three inches off the tip of the toe. you know, like flapping off?
12. If you were a chick, how would you wear your hair? on my head? >.> id grow it. I love long hair on chicks. but then id tie it up tight to my head. man...hair...
13. How many remotes are involved in watching TV at your house? one to turn the tv on and off and one to use the sky digital box. (satellite TV)
14. You're in school, yes? What's you're locker combination? i use a key in a padlock! closest thing could say is the combo for my bike lock is 0179. lol. how original!
15. Describe the largest poster on your bedroom (barring several of the same size - describe the coolest one, in such case). am I wierd by saying I dont have any posters? I do have a section of wall reserved for any things that I think are cool though. pictures from newspapers or of me playing rugby. lol. im such a geeky teen!
16. If you made a lightsaber, what color would it be? it would be....dark. yes dark. it wouldnt emit light, it would suck it up. ever think of turning on a light bulb? what if you werent turning OFF a light, but turning ON a dark....ha! 17. What's the pointiest thing you own? sailing knife! I think...my compass for DCG might be pointy-er-er. what else could I have?
18. Do you own any American money? yep. I have a dime. how much is that worth? a quarter is 25c right? isnt a dime like 15c?
19. What do you prefer? Blondes, Brunettes, or Redheads? oh that is a really tough one. ive only ever been with a brunette...but I would really fancy a fiery red head! what a turn on! lol, but then again, I am a 16 yo, any thing will turn me on!
20. How thick is your local phone book (the white one, not the yellow one)? about two centimeters....i think!
;D ;D ;D

What the heck is a 'centimeter'?.......lol.
18. A dime is worth 10 cents, here. With the dollar falling, it probably is worth about 15 cents worth of the metal it's stamped on - a nickel is worth 7.825 cents, as of March.
16. Dark lightsaber... Wow! That description is deep - deep like a 'dark' hole!
9. The #2 Combo meal in the U.S. is the 'Quarter Pounder'. I figure, since you don't have 1/4lbs, what'd they call them?
8. Shaking a bus up, verticle would freak out the kids, though.....and several lunches would be destroyed, so, you gotta think about those. I'd try to bench a train engine, next.
6. My 'C' named PC game is......Oh, Snap! I was thinking "Sim City 3000" but, I was only seeing "City".
Hey! It's my article, so it's my rules!!
5. I also see ceiling. White?
1. My mouse has silver, too! But, my other color is a dark blue and my bottom is clear, lighting up the entire living room (when it's dark) when my laser eye thing activates.
[Laser mice are way more awesomer than the ball kinds]

Terminology is a funny thing.
I grew up in a region where Coke, Pepsi or any carbonated beverage like that is called pop. As I've moved around especially in Blastgirl region it's always soda. Most people don't know what you mean if you call it pop.
But athletic shoes are always sneakers.

It is pop. Apart from cream soda Oh, Mahnarch, it is still called a quarter pounder . The system is confusing. For roads its all imperial, and for everything else its officially metric. Goods are often sold with both labelled, we buy milk by the pint although litres must also be displayed. So I understand centimetres, metres and miles not inches, feet and kilometers .

It's "soda" here in the West, but my relatives in Arizona call it "pop". Weird.

lol. ok: are you being sarcastic with the centimeter? its 1/100th of a meter.
16: I was proud of that description!
9: yep, still quarter pounder...though I dont even know how much a pound is...i guess its for burgers...
5: yep white! ............................. any carbonated drink that is remotely black or brown is called coke...whether its coke, pepsi, dr pepper, or cheap cola. then we just call everything else by the name.
and yeah....always runners. if you said sneakers or trainers and you were irish, we would end up slagging you off. one thing people dont understand in ireland is that slagging off people is known as a fun thing. the irish language included hundreds of "cuss" words...but they were all used as daily words to describe someone. things like eejit or (heres one you cant spell very well, and you guys probably never heard of:) :luderamon...i think....

What the heck is a 'meter'?.....
HA! Yeah, I was being funny. We 'know about' the metric system - and we use it a lot in the automotive field - but, it's not something that commonly used, at all.
They label a lot of things both in gallons/liters quarts/milliliters, etc. Oh, and they're 'Liters', here. I suspect they're 'Litres' over there?
Theater/Theatre. Tire/Tyre. Time/Tyme.
....it appears all the 'T' words are switched?

HA! True.
I take praise....and money. Just slip a $5 in the 'A' drive......That works, right?

In reality, I usually have to let an intro gestate for a day or so. The majority of my questions are 'On the Spot' - I usually ask one. Look around my own house. Another one pops in my head. And so on.
I also work 10-12 hours a day, so internetting isn't always priority #1 [i.e. Mowing and such takes precedence.]
I'll get around to everyone sooner or later. Having my own sub-forum will make things a whole lot easier.
