depressing

Man, all the stories being discussed here are so depressing! Violence, evil and horrible things. I know the media gives us the impression that this is part of daily life but really these things are the exceptions because that's what makes it news, and the media wants to titilate people. Does anybody have anything actually good that they want to share? I bet there's good things going on in everybody's life.

There's lots of good stories in the rest of the boards. Just that most of the stories discussed in Political and Social Issues are mostly discussing news events and like you said they are usually bad ones.

That's true, I guess my eyes just tend to go for political/current events stuff first.
