just had a brainwave.
abusiness idea maybe? what would you think of an all in one homepage?
a site that you set as your homepage, which gathers together stuff like whether you have new email, forum replies, views on sites, etc.
basically, you can see everything you would like to check for updates on one page without wasting time reloading each page.
could it work? has it been done?

There's ones that have multiple links that you can look over things by simply clicking a link. and reading things over, but that would bring up a new page. I'm not sure if thats what you mean unless you mean it's all on one page.

Hmm.... Idk how you would do it, but that would be amazing... Great for people who don't have a lot of online time.
I think it would be cool, have little miniature screens, of like Lewasite, myspace, facebook, my email, everything just there in a little site...
Great idea, but how hard would that be.

You'd need a script to periodically take a screenshot of each web site. Your super handy-dandy all-in-one web page would simply display all of the screenshots, resized to fit on your screen.
