Ok, so I learned that they average age of the workforce is 42. That floored me. 42!!!!! So I'm 48 and I guessed myself to be on the high end of the age of workforce. I guess since' Im more than 42 I am but this is really something. If that's true, and I haven't challenged or researched what I heard I took it at face value. That seems high for me or if not then I have low faith on the younger generation. If 42 is really the average that means ther's at least one 66 year old working for each 18 year old, Is that really possible?
I hope that information is wrong although the age norm for my work is higher than its ever been. I don't think the average is 42 but it might be.
