I'm having a nostalgia phase where I'm addicted to 80's television. So, I need the collective brain of the elders among us to help me remember the name of a show.
-I'd say it's early to mid 80's.
-It involves an older man and younger boy (father and son?) who travel through time using a pocket watch (though they don't choose where they go next - like Quantum Leap)
-Whenever they travel through time they always fall from the sky - always landing in a conveiniently placed haystack or some other soft pile.
-They usually end up in early 1900s and through the 1800s in order to help a hapless village/town.
I've looked all through Google and Wiki under categories and even queried YouTube with nothing.
I keep seeing Michael Landon as the father but, I know this isn't right. I think it's because 'Stairway to Heaven' was on after or before it - in the afternoon.
Now, I know I'm blowing the dust off a lot of brain matter but, I can't sleep until I remember the name of this show....
...well, actually, I can sleep but, it won't be pleasant.
