Well this is depressing. I'm one of the farters and proud to be so. I'm sorry you hate us so much Slayer and others, but I think that's your problem not ours. I don't see how *creating an entirely seperate forum* is taking over your entire website. Besides, I think Classicblast, Blastgirl, Phil etc. were huge Lewasite people long before farts.com closed and were strong promoters of it there. If you condemn us, you condemn them. Do we think farting is funny? Yes, we do. Is it simple and childish? Maybe. For me it reminds me of the best part of my childhood, the most carefree, honest and silly and what's wrong with that? By the way, I hold a master's degree, so you can choose to think of me as an idiot if you want but at least one major university disagrees with you. If you don't like us fine, you don't have to talk to us but acting like we're idiots because we have a different sense of humor than you makes you a snob and a prig. I'd go on but I know you don't care. I'm just saying it's sad that human beings have a need to start fights like this. I hope you have a good life and I'll try to stay out of your way.

Alright this where I draw the line... Someone named fartsmeller04 just registered and if that isn't a fetish name I don't know what is. You may have brought some nice contributing members to lewasite but you took the sickos along with you.

I took a break from this site after the Asperger's thread. Maybe some of you think I over reacted to someone's opinion. All I can say is take a walk in my shoes for 50 years, and then you'll know why I took that stuff personally. I have Asperger's, it's real, and the unfathomable ways it has F'ed up life for me and my wife  ......Well, that's all I am going to say about that. I think folks here have heard about it more than they ever cared to know. As for the aggressor in that thread, I don't harbor any ill will. I just don't want anything to do with him. And I would suggest that to members here who have differences with other members. Just stay away from their posts and do your own thing. Who said that earlier in this thread? Sound advice!  That's what I plan to do. I have some friends here, and after just loosing a good friend to an accident caused by a drunk driver, you are tragically reminded that life is too short to let any thing come between you and your friends. |

Yes Pumpkin I'm sorry to read of your friend's being killed in an accident.
I have no respect for drunk drivers at all. I like my beer once in a while but you have to respect others and drunk driving has no place as far as I'm concerned.

A beautiful 35 year old mother of two is dead because someone just had to drive after getting intoxicated. And of course, the drunk was not injured.......What I think about all that is not printable or fit for the consumption of others.  It's a mean world. It would be great to have About join us.  |

Yeah. I learned MY lesson the first time (not that I hit any one).
If a beer can cracks open my car stays put.
I only drink at home, now. No bars!
They were always loud and full of smoke, anyway. (as were the patrons).
It's better this way. And safer.

I saw an article a few weeks ago about a guy who got a 12th DUI arrest. There ought to be ways to keep that from happening, but I suspect that a lot of our lawmakers also drink and drive as well.....  I'm not an anti-alcohol crusader. It's the drinking and driving part of it that gets my dander up. |
