But really all I don't recall anything until the 2000 election, but that is very vague. The first news story I remember very clearly would be 9/11.

This isn't really a News Event, does anybody remember Teem Soda?  That's been gone for years but my Mom drank it. Now she usually drinks 7 UP. |

Team soda was introduced in 1959, 1 year before I was born. I don't recall when Teem went out of production....Late 70's or early 80's?
I remember when I was a kid in the 1970's drinking Kickapoo joy juice soda, Is that still being sold anywhere?
Surge soda was one of my favorite sodas in the late 1990's. That stuff would wake you up!

I totally don't get Possum's post. I do remember Teem though.
The ads were about building up thirst. 'Dry salty potatochips,' 'keep building that thirst until you can't take it anymore and then blow it away with Teem.'
I hadn't thought of that in years. Teem was replaced by Slice. I know that for sure.
