Short Summary: A classic in every way.
If there is a person alive who doesn't know who this fleet of foot creature is, then they live under a rock. Or the polar ice cap. This little hedgehog made Sega what it is today. Way ahead of their time, all three of these games featured great level design, hours of play time due to the challenge, extremely cool boss levels, and a whole lot of fun. The series only got better as it progressed on the Genisis. If you own a Sega Genesis and do not own any Sonic games, buy some. Another fun Sonic based game is Doctor Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, a challenging Tetris-like game. Some Sonic flops are Sonic Spinball, an extremely hard pinball game, and Sonic 3-d blast, arguably the stupidest idea ever, with only five monsters per level. I did, however, get some enjoyment out of this game, so if you like it, I must say I really didn't despise it either. (But 5 monsters per level!)
Skitchin'
Short Summary: An obviously 90's (copyright '94) game with horribly dumb humor, extremly weird slang, and a fun concept.
Skitchin is a hard game to review. It's a fun game to play and it is easy to pick up the controls. You are a skater with a small amount of cash. You have to race on tracks in places like Denver and New York against a plethora of rival skaters, using ramps to perform different tricks which will earn you trick bonuses (cash!). The catch is this: in order to win these races, you will often have to grab onto passing cars and go for a ride! Once on these cars, you can do the boring thing and ride the car (or motorcycle or bus) to the end of the track and probably win, or you can do one of two fun things. You can use a multitude of weapons (keep in mind, there is no blood shown) such as whips, chains, and even cattle prods to take out your enemies one by one, advancing to first place. You can also slingshot off the cars (causing you to FLY down the road) and hit jumps at massive speeds, doing awesome tricks and probably ending up getting hit by a car. No matter what you do, I think you should find this game enjoyable. Finally, I'd like to finish off with a pros (good points) and cons (bad points) list:
Pros: ->Fun concept ->interesting weapons ->good assortment of tricks ->bad slang: good laughs (lol even the title is bad slang) ->very fun bonus rounds ->lots of multiplayer options (2 player head to head, 2 player competitive, which is career mode with two people, tourney, and 2 player alternating, which is where 2 players play in career mode, but one player does a race, then player 2 does a race, then player 1, so on)
Cons: ->Nothing special graphics-wise ->could they make the codes any longer? (12gh-475h-69kh-6ikg, etc.,etc.) ->Once you play it through once, there isnt much to do if you dont have a second person to play with ->bad music

I have some other reviews they're not finished yet though, mrwheely's doing it. It's for elasto-mania, a java-based motorcycle sim, which makes the physics very good, the catch is the suspension stretches outward at high speed in the air, the disadvantage is no matter how softly the rider touches his head to anything he always dies.
