On TeamMage they posted a poll about favorite single didgits.
I was going to make a poll like that here but I decided not to because I didn't want to have more questions than answers and if you did too much of a list you can over stack the numbers list since there is no end to numbers.
So here's my answer 8.
I have been number 8 at baseball since high school and that has been my number every step of the way with a brief exception of part of a season playing in a rookie league when I had 14. But even through switching teams last season I got to keep my fabled #8.
What's your favorite number and why?

My house number is 81 and it happens that my parents address is 8181 so it's probably my favorite number.

If I had to make a second pick it would probably be 22 or 33 or some double number I also like double numbers.

although most people think 13 is bad luck I like it. And Mats Sundin wears that #13 so I think it's good luck.

My favorite single-digit number is pi. I always say 13 is good luck for me because I was born on Friday the 13th

I have often said not to be supersticious about numbers but I guess I am a little bit. Otherwise what difference would it make?

I have often said not to be supersticious about numbers but I guess I am a little bit. Otherwise what difference would it make? Suppose the Dodgers organization called you and wanted your services but 8 was taken? What would you do?

Some people play lottery numbers and bet on races towards their favorite number so there's a lot of strength in numerical superstitions.

Those are good numbers. You definately are right about 47 being a number that calm. I can't immediately think of any players in any sports that wore that number.
4 is halfway to Classicblast. Hahaha.

I can't immediately think of any players in any sports that wore that number. Chic Harley and A.J. Hawk. You probably haven't heard of Chic, but A.J. Hawk should sound familiar. My favorite number is probably 64. It was my number in football.
