'He made a mistake?' that's his explanation. A mistake is when you picked up the wrong kind of ketchup at the supermarket, when you should have turned left but you went straight, your folded paper towel missed the trashcan and landed on the floor. Those are mistakes.
Vick was a premeditated planned action and he tries to pass it off as a mistake. I don't think so Mike Vick.

i agree. I used to own a eagles sweatshirt that was heavy and kept me really warm in the cold. it's also helped when I was shaking so bad before getting my wisdom tooth pulled. but when I learned the eagles would be getting vick I threw my sweatshirt in the trash. I know there are people on my facebook who love the eagles because they are a good team so I don't say anything. I will never support the eagles .

Angel607, that's a very interesting post and from most viewers who are not from Philadelphia it is and should be spot on accurate.
But I have an unusual angle where it comes to sports having played for so long. One thing is that fans of a team are so loyal to their team that the tendency is to actually feel just as you do about a Michael Vick or whatever other player is in question, and suddenly find a way to forgive him if he suddenly ends up playing on their favorite team especially if he plays well.
Obviously I am not saying that's the right attitude, but its as if they just see a way to say there's more to this person that what he did that time. A position they would never take had he not ended up on their favorite team.
I think the right response would be what yours was and that was to show contempt for the team for hiring someone who would do such a horrendous thing as what Vick did.
