I've also been thinking about pulling out the old Atari 2600 from my closet and playing some 'Adventure' and 'Combat'....... I think I need a new power cord, though. Eff your Atari 2600. I'd rather play my Colecovision. If I wanna play an Atari game, I just need to pop in the expansion et voila.

When I was in like 5th grade through high school the atari games were the thing to have.
Other companies like Activision made games that fit an atari set. There were hundreds of games but Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Star Raiders, Defender, Centipede Asteroids, and Combat are the ones I remember best.

My favorites were Tempest (i think that's the name), Centipede, and Pac-Man. They were fun to play on my old computer.

On topic: the US annexing Mexico would make it a richer country, which might be good for the residents, but I think Mexico is perfectly happy being its own country. Besides, how would the United States manage to annex Mexico?
Off topic:
I have an anthology of old Atari games for Xbox, so I know the games you are talking about. Adventure rocks a lot, but I never play Combat because no one else wants to play it and there is no AI...
