Oldest middle or youngest and how many?

I am the 2nd youngest overall and the youngest of the girls. 3 girls 1 guy brother is the youngest.

I guess it's silly answering this question in my own Sister's poll but since there are others here I am the first born as probably overstated here.

I am the oldest of 3. There would have been 6 but my mother had 3 miscarriages.

I was born in 1971, my mother had miscarriages in 1974, 1977 and 1978. So when my brother was born in late 1980 that was a huge thrill for my parents. A little over a year later early 1982 my sister was born.

My mother had thought that there was not much of a chance of more childern after that track record.

I'm the youngest I have 3 older sisters, blastgirl and Kimm are my sisters and theres another sister. So when you think your life is tortured think of Dan.

Everybody else has siblings closer in age I think I'm the only person who has a 9 1/2 year jump. Like I said there wouldn't have been such a laps had things worked out differently.

That had to have been fun to have twins in the family.

If Blastgirl could have twins my growing team will have a shortstop and a 2ndbase man. I think my nearly 2 year old is going to be a catcher. He already uses a lot of signols to indicate what's on his mind.

Older brothers can be the worst enemy and the best friend all at the same time.

Older brothers may torture and bully you and then suddenly rush to your defense as soon as you are in trouble.

My older brothers did all those things.

My brother Terry currently 36 years old is the oldest. If it weren't for all his support and encouragement I would not likely have persued a baseball playing career.

My middle brother Brad is 33 now him and I had more issues. We fought a lot. I don't know why that was. Maybe it was because we were a little bit closer in age. He and I were only a year and a half apart and therefore there was more competition. Growing up years there's not much competition with a brother that's 3 to 5 years older than you because he's too big to beat up and too experineced at things to undermine.

So you hang onto him rather than try to knock him over so to speak. My middle brother tortuerd me a lot. hahaha.

But Terry did and has done everything possible for me.

When I was 11 years old Terry got me on the towns youth team and the rest of the players were 14-17 but he convinced the town mayor (he was only 16 himself) that if we were going to win a county championship they should let his 11 year old brother play because he (me) would immediately be the best player on the team.

The other kids were mad at the thought but I got that chance because of him.

When I was 19 I was tried out for teams but I had concerns about the family's business.

Terry again came to the table.

He stood me in a corner and told me that if I don't make every effort to take baseball to the highest level possible I'd regret it for the rest of my life.

He also got my brother Brad to the two of them chipped in and bought me a 1988 thunderbird. (This was in 1995) and so I would have a dependible vehicle to go to other states and cities to tryout.

It looks as if AA is the highest I can take my career but I am in a professional sport and the encouragement came mostly from my brothers. Especially Terry but Brad has also been a positive factor in it happening for me.

So your younger siblings are miracle babies.
That really is unusual.

To answer this old question that I never saw, they are one of each. A brother and sister. I was always a good big brother and never picked on either of them. I always wanted to have good relations with them in the future.
