Well, in my case I guess I have to say the hat is the most important part of the uniform. So I wear a hat at least 140 times a year for 9 innings at a time. The rest of the time not so much unless I'm going to or coming back from the gym it keeps the hair in check.
Also at a promotional function representing the team I would wear a team hat. But for just being out and about not so much.

Yes it did.
Because I wear a hat as part of my uniform I tend not to wear one when I go out socally. Even if it's casual.

Pick out a favorite team and wear their hat. I like tall hats better. The pro contract changed to the lower hats some time ago and they don't seem to be as comfortable.
I wear a 7 1/2 and that's said to be the same but it doesn't feel the same.
Of course you can always buy the kind with the snapps those work too.

I'm not really into sports, so I don't really know of many teams.. All I really need is just a hat like my mom's. She has always had the same hat, and it really looks nice. It is getting a bit worn out though. My old hat was like that one, but alot smaller.
What do you mean by the kind with the snaps?

In case you didn't know this, Classic plays professional baseball. The pro players wear hats that are made to fit like a dress hat is.
So if you watch a game on tv all the hats are fitted. But if you just go to a store and buy a hat at KMart or WalMart the hat would likely be a one size fits all and therefore it would have snapps to adjust the size.

Also what you probably did not know is baseball players under professioal contract receive a new hat for every game whether you play that game or not.
So my friends and everybody have lots of Classic's hats. For aa league games are 140 a season not 162 like pros but that still means 140 hats for each player and they went to the finals so however many playoff games that was 7 I think.
So that means every player and every coach manager and basecoach received 147 team hats.
Some of Classicblast's extra hats were used as prizes at the city carnival others were just given to people. I have some.
And my hat size is close enough to his I can wear his cap.

Dan is correct about a new hat each day.
We don't have to use them though.
I often wear my hat for three or four games if I'm on a roll. If it gets seriously dirty or sweaty and heavy stained I don't but I usually get more than a single game out of my cap.
So there's a number of organizations that take them as "Game day hats" that does not mean they were actually worn and auction them off or give them as door prizes for charity events.

That seems fiscally wasteful to put out a new hat every day.
You could send me some if you have too much backlog.

Hats tend to make a statement of position so I suppose that's why they say "Such and such wears many hats."
