Dounuts are fast. I live at Tim Hortons some mornings. My favorite fast is hard that's such a good list, but I guess I'm a burgers man, eh.

I try not to eat a lot of fast food... but then again some campus food isn't incredibly healthy either. My girlfriend and I ate at a place called Pesto for dinner, which I guess could sort of be considered fast food. You go up to a counter to order your food, and then they call your name and you get your food. I guess that sounds like fast food and they get your food to you fast. Anyways, they serve really good Italian food. My girlfriend and I both had chicken alfredo, although mine was with penne and hers was with fettucini.
On campus, there aren't a whole lot of choices for places to use OSU's meal plan. basically, you have a school ID, and you use the ID to "swipe" to buy meals. You get so many swipes for quarter. When I want to swipe to get something to eat, which is most of the time because I don't wanna pay for food, I usually have a choice between Chinese, pizza, subs, and panini. Most of the food is actually really good, but after a while you get tired of having the same stuff over and over.
Probably my favorite fast food place though is Chipotle. If you haven't heard of it or haven't tried it, you have no idea what you're missing. They serve massive burritos with Awesome fresh ingredients. A single burrito is usually all you need for a meal, though their tortilla chips are amazing. If there's a Chipotle in your area, I order you to go get some tasty burrito goodness.
Long story short: I don't eat much fast food in the form of McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc. but I eat campus food which is sorta fast food but better.

Do you Americans ever have fish and chips? Coz that's my favourite. Yes. Arthur Treachers Fish and Chips. There's a lot of them around. When I was a kid they hit the markets like gangbusters and they seemed to build one in just about every town nomatter how rural. After a few years a number of them sold probably they grew too much too fast. But a lot are still up and running. Yeah I like Fish and Chips. And they're very much alive in America. |
